Bass quality may also vary depending on the source that you are playing. To ensure optimal listening experience, install the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools like an equalizer to fine-tune your speaker and maximize the audio to your liking. Hi ColetteW, We are sorry to hear that the SRSXP500 did not meet all of your expectations. If the sound becomes low while it is in use, please try these steps. While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below.
Turn off the speaker and charge the built-in battery sufficiently.
