Has a lot of bass, I haven’t been able to max it out because I live in an apartment and pretty sure my neighbors don’t appreciate it when I pump at 50% volume. The lights are awesome, and it looks awesome. The price was great and looking forward to bringing it somewhere and max it out. Battery does last for several hours, haven’t timed it precisely. Only downside, is a bit heavy at 38lbs. But think of it as a workout!! It’s worth it!!

I like the sound and the lights are a nice touch.Plus it hooks up to my TV via blue tooth which is really nice!! I like the sound and bass is smooth and not killer boom like some speakers. Sure its heavy and big,but I didn't buy it take it to the beach.It's a home speaker,great on the deck and by the pool.

Best sound system

Most of the time I can’t turn the volume all the way up. It would simply be too loud and the bass too strong (unless you’re partying obviously). I can’t bring it up to half the max volume in my room but it literally shakes my dorm, very tempted to try maxing the volume to see what would happen. Anyways, the audio quality is beautiful and the bass bumps. It’s great for parties. It’s great for just chilling out and listening to music. However, it is big of course so it takes up a little bit of space and isn’t amazing for portability but honestly I don’t care about any of that. It makes my room shake and it sounds good. I haven’t noticed any issues with battery life, not sure if it’s 25-hours but it lasts quite a while. If you’re looking for a speaker with quality, base, and battery life, and you’ve got the extra dosh to toss… I’d definitely recommend this speaker. Great product 10/10. Note: I have not personally noticed any real issues or downsides to owning this speaker, but again that is *personally*.

JUST BUY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

I bought it for an outdoor wedding and it surpassed my expectations. This one speaker filled a large area outside with great sound. I was able to DJ from my phone and the Blue tooth range was in incredible, as was the battery life and sound. Had it at about 1/3 volume for 4 hours during first part and 3/4 -max for 6 hours during reception. Still had plenty of battery life at the end of day. Everyone was amazed at how much sound came from one speaker and it was about 40 feet away and filled such a large area outside. Also this thing rocks my house! It's a mobile indoor out door dance party. I bought one as a gift for my brother in law and two other people from the wedding went and bout one as well. Great value and sound quality!! Catch it when it's on sale and even better. App, sound quality, bass, battery, all 5 stars earned It's a beast to carry but whatever.

You can pair it with another speaker for even louder sound. However, by itself it’s already loud enough. Battery on it last a long time. If it gets low you can charge and use at the same time.

Incredible sound and bass

The unit is capable of getting pretty loud. Under most circumstances anything above 1/3 to 1/2 is going to be too loud for outside. The bass is pretty good too. We have found all kinds of uses for having a speaker with this much portable power. Also the battery life has been fantastic. The light show isn't as impressive as the JBL, but you're not paying nearly as much either. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Not quite a JBL, but pretty close.

I originally reserved a JBL 1000 for the event but the person cancellwd on my the day prior. I scoured the stores for a JBL to buy for my event, but couldn't find any, so I settled for the Sony. I was a little nervous half expecting it not to provide enough sound for the event, but I was pleasantly surprised as it filled the room, and provided music for 80 people. The bass doesn't hit as hard as a JBL, but for the price it's very very close. The lights are someone mininal compared to a JBL, and the light application is garbage, don't bother with it, but the sound shines over all. The battery life is phenomenal however, you're going to want to keep this speaker plugged in for maximum sound. It lowers ever so slightly on battery power. You only notice this at higher volumes. The mids, highs are super clean, and the bass is a 9 out of 10. The audio through a microphone is so clean it could double as a P.A., also it doubles as a guitar amp, cool bonus. I recommend this for small gigs and parties.

Was going to get one a little smaller one for less money, but after hearing this model, we just bought it. The highs are very clear due to the 3 tweezers, and dual speaker woofers put out a strong punchy bass. The battery lasts about 30 hours. He absolutely loves it. The only thing you need to be conscious of is its weight. He’s 31 and pretty strong so it’s not an issue. I on the other hand am 72; I can move it where I want without too much of a problem, but wouldn’t want to pack it up a flight of stairs as an example. If you don’t mind the weight, then it’s a no brainer.

Even with mega bass off it still hits hard. Having the light feature off doesn't make the battery last much longer so it's cool to use it with thw light on to follow the music. Charger is done really quickly as advertised. So no need to worry about topping it up when you need to. What a light show it can do. I wish I could upload the video I took of it.... Remember if you use it near water to insure the ports are all closed .

Great large Bluetooth speaker

I was originally was looking at JBL, but have not seen one in stock for a couple months now. I started looking online, but really hard to get an idea for size, sound, look, ease of use, etc. I went into my local Best Buy just to browse and found this product. Really surprised of how good it sounds. Have tried different genres of music and have been happy with how each plays from this speaker. I primarily use this around the house for outside activities. Have used already for a couple parties, and have had many compliments. Another plus is the 28 hr battery life on a full charge. I have used this for a period of twelve hours in a day and never had to worry about the battery. Have not put the battery life through a full test yet. Overall I am happy with the product. The only dislikes I would have is if you have a big interest in the party lighting on this speaker it is not as much as some other large speakers that are on the market. It was not a deciding factor to myself and honestly I don’t use. I do wish that these larger speakers would come with some wheels to make it more maneuverable. You may want to create some type of cart for it to move as it can be quite heavy and awkward sometimes. This can just depend on how often you are moving it from place to place. I am happy with the purchase and would suggest it to someone looking for a large Bluetooth speaker.

Extremely long battery life, the lights can be on or off (I prefer them off) and the clarity of the sound leaves no complaints. Even outdoors I never got it over 1/3 volume, and just playing around pushing it past half was very loud and the Bass Booster is in my opinion unnecessary. The bass in normal leaves the ground shaking a little when volume is turned up, Bass Boost while fun tends to drown out the rest of the music. Typical Sony setup, very easy plug and play just life setting up any other bluetooth device. This is now my mainstay for outdoor music and saved me from my original plan of mucking around with getting a dedicated outdoor speaker setup. This is far more flexible and immensely powerful.

I like the lights and how they change colors with the beat of the music and its a little heavy in weight but otherwise pretty good but pricey.

Clear sound Loud good alternative to the JBL 310

I grabbed this one instead cause I have always been a Sony guy. When I first listened to it I was kinda like meh. I like hip hop and this doesn’t have rumbling low base but it does have good punch base. I was considering returning it till one day I let my spouse put her music on one day. She listens to 80s soft rock. She started playing Journey and the sounds of the instruments and vocals were so clear and crisp that I was stunned. That moment won it over for me. This is a house speaker that can be taken places. I move it all over the house back yard while doing house work it moves all around with me and keeps my phone charged too. The lights are nice not too flashy nice and smooth. Also this thing plays low volume very well. I feel like you can put it on a low volume walk away and still here it really good. Also the speaker on the back works really well.
