I use this as my theatre speaker when we watch movies in our back yard using my outdoor projector. Connects easily with Bluetooth. You will love the movies with great sound and big screen in the back yard wall. My grand kids enjoyed karaoke a lot. For family fun and with friends enjoyment, this is the best boombox since no worries if you don’t have power outlet !!

Powerful and Long Lasting

We often pla party games with friends and stick this thing in the corner playing music and man does it fill the entire house with music. The bass options are very nice as well. Extra points for the option to turn the lights off, they can be distracting at times. The battery life is amazing on this thing as well on the very few occasions we've taken it to the beach.

A Powerful Speaker

It’s more speaker power than I needed but since I’m not using it anywhere near max power it sounds great. It is rather heavy if you plan to move it round a lot. The Sony Music Center app works reasonably well and allows you to group with other Sony speakers that support “party mode” for simultaneous play (or stereo play which I haven’t used). I use it for workouts and the deep bass is highly motivating for me.

Amazing sound

It is very loud. You can host a party with the speaker. Definitely a great buy. Stays charged for long. Great for cookouts and outdoor functions. Definitely recommend for someone who likes to play music. As a matter of fact I so get one for myself.

For parties, this thing is a must. Very powerful, very clear sound, and being able to toggle the extra bass is really nice. The lights match to music well enough and can also be turned off. The handlebars on it are also a lifesaver for how much I've had to haul this thing around the house. It's got a battery in it as well, but I've not tested it as it's been at the house the whole time. Really really love this speaker.

I bought this and couldn’t be happier. The sound is great. Plenty of bass and high end. I’m using it all the time even at home. There are 2 USB ports to charge your phone or other battery operated devices. I have used it all day and haven’t run out of battery yet. I just plug it in overnight and it’s ready to go all day the next day again.

Sony delivers with heavy weight speaker

This thing is big, and heavy. Luckily with its massive size comes powerful sound. It’s literally a boom box. Throw any genre of music at it, new or old and it delivers crisp, clear vocals and punchy bass. And I don’t even use mega bass. I currently have this in my garage/ gym and it fills the room with glorious audio. I will definitely buy another so they can be the power twins. Highly recommended for those who plan to leave it stationary. Not recommended for moving around.

We enjoy how portable it is and apprecuate the sound qualty. The lights are a nice touch. If the spx500 sounds this great i bet the spx700 sounds even better. We plan on buying two more of these to connect them to make sure the music can be heard everywhere. I recommend this speaker if you are looking for good sound quality without committing to a bigger purchase.

It was like new and a very reasonable price. I use this speaker to out shine my neighbors when I’m barbecuing. Bass is good. Sound is crisp. It is heavy, I know it’s portable but it’s very heavy. It hasn’t left the house but I’m glad it could if need be. I want to buy another to sync together and really make the neighbors mad.

Big Bass, Great Acoustics

I have now acquired the SRS and the sound quality is amazing and will annoy your neighbors! Definitely recommend. It’s great for the beach as well, just make sure you dust off the sand after!

Reccomend with a blue tooth app getting an equalizer app to adjust for cleaner highs. I would reccomend this speaker for anyone looking for a great bluetooth speaker. We use it for cookouts and outdoor gatherings. Its loud enough that we only turn it up half way and still can hear it far away. For the price its up there with the best.
