I've seen some reviewers saying it doesn't sound as good unplugged, but I've not had that experience. We ry enjoyed the speaker and take it everywhere with us. I.E. Pool, soccer, and beach!

Nice potable karaoke to carry around

Luckily no damage to the speaker. It sounds amazing when I play music from my phone. I tried connecting the microphone to it for karaoke and sound great too. With the app downloaded I can even adjust the echo and some other sounds from microphone.

It’s smaller than the 700 version but it still packs of punch. I’m absolutely thrilled with the base button as I can alter how much base there is if I’m watching TV compared to when I am listening to music.

It's an okay speaker

Sound quality is fantastic, volume - when plugged in - is incredible. Once it's unplugged and running on battery, the max volume drops significantly. It's still pretty loud, but it was just a touch louder than my jbl extreme it was replacing. Ultimately returned.

Distorted Sound

Only issue I have had is occasionally the sound coming from my Echo Show is extremely distorted. I turn off the Sony and back on and it's ok. I have Geek Squad repair and was on hold 15 minutes today before I hung up, Since it is in the 14 day exchange period, I will be going to the store to exchange! When it works, the bass is awesome! I won't know how good it really is until I have it outside this summer.
