Hi ElvisH, thanks for choosing and purchasing our product. We're sorry to hear that you have a volume issue with your Sony unit. While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly.
