Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the performance has not met your expectations, and we acknowledge your concern regarding the speaker's volume when powered by the built-in rechargeable battery. The maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet. Also, while the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.

If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below.
1. Turn off the speaker.
2. Charge the built-in battery sufficiently

For the sound quality, we recommend using the Sony Music Center app to adjust the equalizer settings to your preference. This can significantly enhance your listening experience.
