It can really bump at max level but it doesn't distort the audio. Its pretty cool that you can connect it to your tv. And the lights on it create a great atmoaphere

The range on the equalizer is better than the JBL alternative. Got it on sale for $600 down from $999. At that price point, you can’t beat the quality. Definitely turns the party out. Only complaint is it doesn’t have its own remote. You adjust sound and function through the app on your phone which works good except you have to walk up to the speaker to turn it on. Overall I recommend especially if you can pick it up on sale like I did.
