Wow, gamechanger!

This camera has enhanced my photos and video to a very professional level. I'm actually buying two more to have my staff use when we cover events. It is really that good!

It works best for video and vlogging. Pics are good. Most of what this does could be done on a newer phone. You need to have a better microphone for pick-up. Overall, it's good but not great.

Battery not my favorite

Great vlogging camera at an awesome price

It offers so many features that I have to keep watching YouTube tutorials to figure out how to use each one of them. It's very easy to use and its response to any command is super fast. I love the defocus feature which allows you to blur the background with the click of a button, the stabilizing feature and also the product showcase function. It's a pretty incredible camera for vloggers.

The settings on the camera helps me shoot anywhere at anytime. The microphone that comes with the camera surprised me. It is actually clear and the playback videos are loud. The front face camera helps shoot by yourself. The scene selection make it easy to shoot at night with good lighting that can be adjusted. And it’s easy to catch shoots that have moving options.

Def need a backup battery rig. Dropped mine into the lou accidentally while recording a morning routine. It wouldn't turn on at first, but after couple days it was 100 functional. Love it

Excellent camera and fun to use

It has a great lens with a large aperture of 1.8 wide open and that allows me to get terrific high quality photos in almost any light. I am having so much fun with this camera. It locks the focus super fast and has the best tracking features in the industry in my opinion. Sony dominates with capturing action. I carry this camera with me everywhere I go in my man bag.

Great vlogging & YouTube Camera

The various inputs allow for external audio sources so you can get really clean sound. Excellent stabilization and other features. As with most Sony products, keep an extra battery charged and close by. The display can eat the battery life. Oh, and it certainly does take nice still shots!

Great camera for beginners!

I battery dies fast so I would definitely recommend buying at least another battery. I also heard that if you wear sunglasses and try to use the flip screen then it will go black. Other than those two things, I think this is a great camera for those starting out. :) I mostly use mine for vlogging!

I love using this camera on a tripod for interviews as i can flip the screen so i can verify we are in frame. Also works on a selfie stick/gimbal. I use an external mic.

Sony ZV-1 bought in May 2023

Great photos and videos for close up or within 10 yards. A newer Samsung or iPhone has a better quality from further away. Good photos with limited light and are better than most phones. I think it's a great camera for $500, NOT $750 as listed!

Could use a software uodate to make it more intuitive and include the use if the touch screen more.
