Excelent for videos. Marginal for still photos

The lack of flash is something that I really hate. You can use an external one, but loses all the compact sense. If you want a compact camera for video, this is the best.

It has everything I wanted in a camera not to mention it's portable size which I can bring anywhere I go. I also like it's video quality. HD it is. Also the quality is superb! Great picture, very good. sound without a sound bar, easy to use settings and screen setup. However, the last year and a half it has had a mind of its own. Best Buy replace the motherboard once, but once again it is, spontaneously turning off and freezing

Great compact camera

Used it every day to take pictures and videos of my toddler. So far I am happy with this camera. My only complaint is that the location function is not stable.

Love it, but no flash…

Get the vlogger kit, and you're golden

Works the way I hoped it would

We recently upgraded our technical equipment at church. We wanted to be able to record the service in our sanctuary and show live in our fellowship hall. Through the Best Buy techs, we were able to figure out how to do this; but needed a video camera that did video and audio transmittal. I am extremely "non-technical" but this camera and the connections make the task easy. I have not used this for regular photography, but look forward to experiencing that side of it as well. From looking over the camera's capabilities, I think I will be learning something new for years to come.

Sony ZV-1 Review

It performs moderately/poorly in low lighting conditions. I think if Sony wanted to make a true vlogger camera, they would scale back the 24mm back to at least 18mm so it’s easier in selfie mode to capture the vlogger/scenery/co-host. The quality otherwise is acceptable for vlogging purposes but I would say that with just a little bit more cost and size/weight of the camera, there are far superior options out there that will make stunning movie quality videos. The ZV1 doesn’t translate well to big flat screens/4K resolution TVs whereas bigger models such as the a7 models will produce beautiful and sharp/smooth videos.

Well he was right, I started watching the playbacks from his camera and it is crazy how many people cannot drive!!! All the videos are clear and prove which driver would be in the wrong if ever needed. This camera clearly removes any burden of proof from an accident.
