Great Beginner Vlogging Camera

This is a very versatile camera that fits in your pocket. The mic on the camera works great, especially with the windscreen and the side viewfinder is so useful! I use it also as a webcam. Perfect for young creators on a budget!

ZV-1 great for low light

Lots of options... Not great on a rollercoaster because Sony stabilization does not compare to GoPro... but other than that single issue, I think you will love the video 4K quality! Fyi, menu's are not touchscreen.

Good basic camera for streaming.

It's been a consistent performer. I've also been using it for some.basic shooting and the results have been good. The menus are a bit cumbersome, but with some practice they're usable.

The AF is faster than the zve10 and the rolling shutter is as low as the a7siii. The 1080 120p is amazing and the image and color in general holds up with the a7siii with some very minor tweaks.

Weird Visit

It took a few minutes for a sales associate to help me with a locked box housing the camera I was looking for. The associate had no knowledge of appropriate accessories for the camera, so I had to locate those on my own. Also he would not allow me to hold the product until I reached the front of the store, as if I was going to steal or damage it before purchase. He told me a story about a customer prying open a locked box with a tripod as well. I was then escorted by a second gentleman to the register. The young lady at the register was helpful and knowledgeable, but was out of bags which I found inconvenient as well. Overall a very unsettling visit. I am happy with the product.

Be aware of some of it's limitations.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a very good camera, but it does have one shortcoming that I did not see mentioned in any pro review. If you plan to buy this for content creation and you plan to use this to shoot video in 4K resolution, be aware that due to the FAT32 file type used in the camera that video files are limited to 2GB in size. The camera will continue filming, but will do so in another file. If you are filming in 4K you will reach 2GB in roughly 4-5 minutes. Also, this camera will shut itself down due to heat when filming, which I have experienced while filming in 4K resolution. This camera is decent, just not great.
