I bought this since the canon g7x has been sold out for so long and tested it out for about a week and did not like it at all. Battery also dies so fast and when taking pictures it gives samsung quality.

Good in specific situations.

There are hacks to fix it but that may void warranty so no go for me. There are a lot of improvements (video itself) and internal mike is very good!

Pictures are extremely clear as well as image stabilization. Highly recommend the vlog attachment which really helps if you shoot on the go.
