Versatile camera, but the price could be lower

However, as it is basically a video-centric RX100 V, the MSRP should be marked a bit lower than it is now. The mode button is fine, but not as easy to use as the traditional mode selector.

Best if filming in 5-minute segments

Camera is easy to use with straightforward controls. The only downside is the issue with the camera overheating and shutting off or stopping recording without warning. You can only capture about 5 minute segments of video. This really hurts the usefulness, obviously.

Buy an iPhone instead

Was really disappointed, especially with the zoom(it’s a joke). What’s worse is the app it comes with to transfer its a joke, especially when you you transfer to a phone it reduces the quality significantly.

Horrible lighting capture

Decent at filming, hard to grip

However, I have found the camera's body is a bit hard to grip when not on the shooting grip (in the accessory kit), and I wish it had some kind of textured grip.

No flash

Great for beginners

Sound quality is good as well. Auto focus is a bit slower than what was advertised but it's definitely better than the competitions version.

Good 4K.... Horrible Zoom noise.
