    Bought for my wife and she said it works great but wanted something else where she can change out the lenses but for a starter camera, great option!

    Wasnt really a camera that made me pht my phone down seems like the same pictures or videos i wanted to take were able ti be done on my phone seeing how the f stop is so small

    DO NOT BUY-HEATS UP WITH MINIMAL USE & MORE

    Decided to get this camera due to the specifications which met my needs perfectly. However, I just started using the camera and it just shut down because "the internal temperature needs to cool down." I did not even realize it was heating because its on the tripod and the craziest part I used it to maybe 15 minutes. A brand new camera, and the first time I use it that to minimally and it's heating up, absolutely appalling. I felt the camera and it was hot. DO NOT BUY! I used it for 2-3 minutes initially when I bought it and no issues. So I did not return it and now my return period is over.Now I am stuck with this horrible camera. Sony you really disappointed me with this. Do not get this camera even if someone gifts it to you or you find it on the floor, trust me you are better off without it. Get another camera.

    Bought this because i was told it is the canon g7x dupe. This camera is not for pictures its mostly for vlogging, dont recommend if you are looking for nice pictures. Setting are complicated and pictures come out blurry

    Stabilization is horrific, you have to keep on tripod in a studio. Not an action cam at all. This thing is fragile too, the screen is so flimsy with no viewfinder. Menus are terrible and complex, shame on sony. Difficult to transfer to phone. You cant just take it out of box and expect good quality. Gotta read up and spend hours setting it up. Not for me, bought the dji action 4. Love it way better

    Terrible - Shuts off after 5 minutes (overheating)

    Terrible. This product should be listed as fraudulent. Advertised as a vlogers camera - cannot stay on for more than 5 minutes without overheating. If you are a vlogger and use a Mac - like 99% of the creative world - THIS WILL NOT SYNC UP WITH YOUR MAC - you cannot use it as a vlogers camera. 1) it'll over heat in 5 minutes so talk fast and 2) you are required to use Sony's software and it makes everything look like a claymation. The quality of the video when importing to your computer, looks about 85% worse than the view finder Quality - it looks worse than an iPhone 12. Low light is unusable and looks over exposed and grainy. Color accuracy... either the sky is white or this camera sucks. There's minor adjustments you can make, but it takes a long time to adjust and has next to no smart features - this camera is almost 100% manual usage for adjustments. There's no preset or automation on it, focusing struggles all the time in all setting. If you use studio lights of any sort (LED's), the refresh rate cannot be adjusted to avoid lines on a screen. In adjusting the refresh rate. Battery Life- maybe 15 minutes when recording. You cannot plug it in and use it forever - 1) it'll overheat in 5 minutes - 2) the batter still drains even when plugged in and recording. Eventually you have to sit and wait for a while to recharge it if you do not have a spare. So if you read this far and still want this camera - buy like 15 $40 batteries - you will need every single one... also a portable freezer to cool it off would be good. Picture quality as a camera is horrendous. it really struggles to focus. All photos came out fuzzy/blurry when not using a tripod - shutter adjustments did nothing. PLEASE NOTE - This is my 3rd ZV-1 I've tested - the first two had the EXACT same issue - I was assured by Sony that it was just a bad device... it is not. This is a $750 paper weight that turns on and off.

    I love the quality of the video, but when you record in 4k it shuts off every 4-5 minutes. I tried searching how to fix it, but still no fix to the problem.

    It’s a quality camera, but I should’ve dug a bit deeper when looking for a camera to film videos. The battery doesn’t last long and it heats up when recording.

    OVERHEATED!

    Just received this camera today and it overheated on me twice. I wasn't even recording or taking photos. I was in settings changing things up for about 10 minutes and a message popped up that internal heat was high and it turned off. Took out the battery and it was hot. Turned it back on for about two minutes and received the same message and turned off again. Now I have to wait for a replacement. Keeping it 1 star until I receive replacement and it does not overheat on me the first 10 minutes. Hopefully it's just a faulty camera.
