BEST VLOGGING CAMERA

Not o my does this camera have amazing quality when it comes to taking pictures and videos, it’s very easy to set the setting up. It’s a decent size to carry around at any time. Love this camera and would definitely recommend to others!

Amazing camera

I researched it a lot before purchasing and it is an amazing camera. I took it recently on a family vacation trip to Mexico and the camera quality is superb. The functionality and practicality of it is amazing for the price. The camera is easy to use. One draw back is if you get any kind of water or exposed to humidity, you're going to have to deal with a foggy lens until it dries up. The camera does not have the ability to mount other lenses but if you're shooting for vlogs and non zooming videos, it works amazing

I make films for a living and love this as a side vlogging spur of the moment camera! A few quirks though. The 1.8 though, while bright has the depth of field more like an f5. But if you are ok with that, awesome! If you're shooting in ia for video, be warned that the auto shutter kind of goes wonky and plays back clips too fast if you move the camera around too fast. But once you know the quirks, it's amazing! Most convenient camera ever! Purchased for in the moment vlogging shots so I love it! If you vlog though, use a selfie stick rather than the optional accessory... It's worth it and will greatly open up your shots.

Highly Portable and discreet

It is a great camera to vlog with but has its drawbacks. The a7iii is large and quickly draws attention. If you are looking for an excellent vlogging camera that is bit more discrete than this camera might work for you. The biggest drawbacks are the 5min. recording maximum and the 24mm wide angle. If you extend your arm the 24mm is definitely manageable but the 5 minute recording time is something that you really have to be pay attention to. It will shot off before you realize it has happened. Great all around camera

It’s a great all around camera that takes good outside photos and video and inside as well under lower light conditions. My daughter is very pleased with the quality of the images and that it’s compact enough so she doesn’t always have to lug around her large digital SLR all the time now. It would have been nice if it came with an SD card but outside of that, no complaints so far.

Nice But One Big Negative

My usage is mainly video and the ZV-1 was nice but limited because you can’t change the lens. Also, for me the big negative was not being able to get at the memory card without removing it from the base when it is mounted on a tripod. That alone was enough to return it because it is a big workflow killer. It has lots of great features. Takes great video if you can get the lighting right. It is small and light weight, the swing out screen is nice and can be flipped to protect the screen when it your pocket. No viewfinder.

Only used a few times, still need to learn how to use it and get better at vlogging (in selfie mode)

Decent but not Ideal

I upgraded to the ZV-E10 in order to fulfill the photography aspect given the E mount system that is available. It is not a full frame sensor but it is a very good APS-C sensor (hopefully I am correct)
