After a lot of research I decide to purchase this camera and I can't explain how satisfy I am. All the settings already preset if you are a beginner like me or if you already a pro you can also create your own settings. The big plus was the magic skin setting !! does't matter if you have a bad day you will ALWAYS look good.

Beginner Vlogging Camera - Sony ZV1

Great quality overall, only con is the battery is pretty weak. I suggest you buy 2-3 more batteries.

Totally worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this camera!! Being a Vlogger and all I ever used was a Gopro for youtube. I love that it comes with a dead kitten for the inter microphone. But to where I can also use my own microphone on camera and the mic not covering the frame due to the scene being on the side now. Totally worth that money. They were thinking about Vloggers first before photographers.

Great camera

Takes very little to learn the menu, but it is not complicated at all. It is easy to operate. 4k video is really good. Active stabilizer works very well. Lens can be a little wider, but it works well.

Great Starter

Easy to use. Connects to OBS seamlessly. I currently use it for streaming church services. Only down side is there is no built in flash.

Good - But Not Great

The packaging is good, but lacks any “normal” accessories such as a camera strap. Photo The camera takes crisp photos and has plenty of manual and automatic settings to get the best photo possible. Video The 4K videos look amazing. Very high quality videos can be captured. Audio Using the built in audio (and wind adapter) the audio is very good. I used a wired and wireless mic to plug into the 3.5mm connection and actually found it to make the audio worse. It sounded muffled. Technology The camera has an app to gain access to control the camera remotely, offload pictures and videos, and other control. Personal experience All of the above are great reviews, but I encountered a significant issue. While inside (in air conditioning) and using the remote video control, the camera said it was overheating after a 90 second video. The camera shut off. It wouldn’t power back up. It may have just been a defective unit, but I wanted to pass along my experience.

I wish you could switch out the lens but it truly is the best camera for vlogging/videos especially if you have DSLR cameras like we do, especially considering the price. We would recommend for anyone that wants to record HQ videos. Also, the stand that is advertised for it also comes in handy!

I love that you can close the screen to protect it and love the image/video quality! It’s really missing a flash but that would be the only gripe that I have! Would highly recommend!

Great camera for beginners!

I just received mines today this morning so excited to start using it only reason I haven’t yet is because I need a memory card I didn’t know you had to buy that separately, so with that being said I’ll be buying a memory card and start using my ZV-1 ASAP and updating my review if I can thank you.

Nifty little camera

I also use it for streaming and recording videos with obs. It has a feature to use as a webcam with just usb at 540p but I use it with elgato cam link to get up to 4K output. Picture quality is well worth the price.
