I honest thought this camera was going to be the perfect camera for me. The issues i have with this camera is the battery life and overheating. The battery doesnt hold a charge, I can’t film a youtube video without me having to charge it in between which takes forever. It also tends to get hot after filming which is concerning.I wanted to like this camera after hearing so many great reviews on it. I thought this camera would replace the quality on my iphone 14 but the iphone camera beats this camera 100% … Also Ive been having issues with audio and grainy quality, so don't fall for the hype.

If you are streaming, making talking head YouTube videos or shooting techy B-roll this is a great camera! I have used this camera for all of the above since I got it. I have not, however, carried it around for any vlogging. Some folks say 24mm isn't wide enough, and for vloggers with stabilization and 4k on, the frame could be head dominated without a Gorillapod or selfie stick, but I don't use it that way. I really enjoy having the "defocus" background button and item "show off" button (can't remember what it's really called). For someone who doesn't want to get into photography, but wanted something better than a webcam this is perfect. I tried a Sony a6400, and that's more camera, but required more "cameraing" effort than I wanted to learn about. The ZV-1 is so simple to use!! I Aperture Priority (?) mode and control the shutter speed and aperture and let the camera do the rest. All I do is maybe a small color grade in post and let camera do the rest. Love it!!

Got this camera for my daughter and she loves it she been using it everywhere we go now.

My husband got this for me as a birthday present. I know that the price is high, but it is very well worth it. It works fast, connects wirelessly to your phone so you can sync your photos, and makes uploading online very easy. Clarity is incredible and the battery lasts me weeks. I use it to upload my cooking. The mic is an added bonus. :)

This is a great compact 4K camera, however there are some serious learning curves with this one. The battery that comes with the camera is NOT enough! If you record in 4K the battery will only last about 20 minutes before “Battery Exhausted” and that’s if you can record a solid 20 minutes without it stopping. There is a safety feature on the camera to prevent it from overheating that maxes out 4K videos to 5 minutes, you can update your preference in the settings. If you are recording a video and it is too dark, don’t record in movie but instead record in Intelligent Mode.

Bought it to take pictures in Hawaii all the photos and videos came out perfect. You do have to play with the settings, but pictures look amazing!

What can you say about this legendary camera that hasn't been said already? This is my third Sony camera I have both an a5000 and a6000 and they are great cameras but this is very much one of the best options for content creation. I love the one-touch Bokeh settings and the viewing window is perfect for video work. My only complaint and it's not even a complaint but the internal mic could be a little better but that's very much a small matter also it would be great if it had a USB-C charging port instead of the micro USB but again a small matter. I love this camera and I'm sure you will too if you do a lot of video work.

This tiny camera is perfect for travel! I don’t vlog, but I love that I can easily pack it in my bag. The quality is clear and easy to use.

I found this baby one of the best purchases I made in a long time. The Price point is great, but the results are much better. For many of you that are starting greating content, but also has an affiction to photography and Hig Quality Video production, this one is an amazing choice, as it gives you the chance not only to have almost professional results, but to study, and understand the behavior of professional video production. The only thing that you'll miss, is the Interchangeable lenses, but, with this product, you can explore tons of professional settings, top video quality, all the manual adjustments, the function of an ND Filter, and much more. Also, you'll obtain a beatiful 4K material to work with in Premiere pro, and test all the professional picture profile, color adjustments. And if you like, you cna use it as it is, an amazing Vlog Camera. And, despite all the negative comments about the lens field of view, there is a lot of twaeks that you can do to expand this possibility, but I have to say, you should have some short arms to feel the image too close to your head, it is NOT as terrible as people are saying in Youtube.

Great camera! I really enjoy it and I love the quality of everything about it. The only downfall is the mechanical sound the zoom feature makes. BUT, if you are using an external mic it doesn't matter.

Love this camera! I love the way it captures photos and videos with great quality. I love the outcome of my photos, photos are captured as if you’re still in the moment. The video quality is amazing as well. It had great video and sound quality. Perfect for content creating and having fun! Once videos and photos are exported, the liveliness of each memory captured is still within.

Very nice looking. Easy to use and great picture video quality. Much better than my iphone.

For the price the camera is great quality even without additional lenses the videos come out great and the audio is clear, along with that it is super easy to use and works amazing for any type of photography and film making

The video quality of this camera is amazing! The camera itself is very compact and so nice. The only problem I have with my camera is using external mics with it. I’ve tried three different microphones and there is no sound coming from them when they are connected. I’ve even tried new cables and even tried using the usb slot instead of the jack to connect the microphones but that didn’t work either. I’ve heard of other people on YouTube who also have this issue and can’t use external microphones as well as faulty internal microphone issues. Like when plugging an external mic then unplugging, the cameras internal mic wouldn’t work unless turning the camera off and then back on. I didn’t realize I ran out of time to return/exchange as I was trying to figure out where the audio problem was coming from so I can no longer return it. I use my camera for ASMR videos on YouTube and I need good external mics for this. TIP (if this audio thing isn’t an issue for you): I now have to record my audio separately on my phone and sync the audio and video when editing. Extra work but it’s the only way it seems like. So beware when purchasing this camera!

Love Love Love Love!!! I had got this product to start off my interest in creating a YouTube channel. Upon turning on the camera I was in love due to how well the camera automatically adjusted to my surroundings. I was walking from an indoor environment to an outdoor environment and was expecting the camera to essential "white-out" my background due to exposure. However, the camera adjusted instantly and kept me in focus. Next, I tried filming in the dark was able to see myself and my surroundings without the need of an additional light. It did all of this with its high quality photos too. Lastly, it has an amazing display focus feature so that if I am showcasing a product while recording and hold it in-front of the camera it focuses on the product and back to me as soon as I put it down.
