My only reason for giving it 4 stars is how hot the unit gets when shooting in 4K. Batteries don’t really give a warning before they go out. If you don’t mind the heat, get extra batteries and have fun, it’s a great camera.

Posted .High-quality movie recording, including 4k, and high-speed continuous shooting does require large amounts of power. great camera for great price.

I am a professional photographer and use this for webcam, behind the scenes video footage etc.

The lack of flash is something that I really hate. You can use an external one, but loses all the compact sense. If you want a compact camera for video, this is the best.

The little wind blocker works as described. We also bought the kit and together it is really awesome. Quality is great. Auto focus is on point. All around great camera.

Excellent VLOG Camera!

Previous Sony cameras had a screen that flipped up which can be a problem if you have an external flash or microphone mounted there. This is my new camera that does it all.

But Best buy online custemer service is a joke. They lied to me and said they sent me a replacement twice and they never did. I had to call and talk to them ten times.

Amazing camera with great tracking, but one flaw.

The videos and pictures produced from this camera are amazing. The only major flaw is battery life. When filming for more than an hour, the battery drops to about half, which is just not great.

Great Vlogging Camera

There is a small learning curve to make full use of all the features available. Best to go on YouTube to learn how to use it. Will also need a smartphone to post pics and video online/ social media.

This exact Sony wins in every single category hands down. No battery life on any camera is really great so buy extra batteries, but the quality of photos and videos plus ease of use is fabulous!
