    My Dad and I purchased this for our YouTube channel as we saw numerous websites list this as the #1 vlog camera right now. I had incredibly high hopes, and I was very impressed with the quality of the camera along with its features until the camera overheated in less than 20 minutes. This is appalling! For a camera made marketed towards vloggers, this is a tremendous fault and definitely not a quality item for vloggers to utilize. we returned it.

There are suggestions to help you use the camera longer before it shuts down automatically to preserve itself from damages due to overheating. One is setting the Auto Power OFF Temp. function to High, and then using a faster memory card. It's sad to hear that you have to return the camera because of this, but if you would want to try again with our cameras, you can contact us at 239-245-6360 for any inquiries.     Great optics, poor screen.

    I've been a Canon user for ever, but this seems to have all the features I wanted in a great little package. I loved this little monster for about 2 weeks of use. Crisp photos, great zoom, nice video, but then the screen went out. Sony customer care were friendly and chatty and ultimately useless. Turn it on, turn it off to discharge, battery in, battery out, full reset, partial reset, now I'm fed up. $700 paper weight. Back to Canon I go.

    Hot pile of garbage!!!

    I bought this to compliment my A7iii. HUGE mistake. First of all, the menu system is a disaster and doesn't match up to online manuals. I can't find the option for picture profiles anywhere, which is why I bought it. Can't figure out how to set video to 4K. It cycles between photo, 30FPS HD and 60FPS HD. And I've had a LOT of cameras, but I've never had one with such a faulty SD card slot that my card broke trying to insert it. The camera will NOT accept an SD card. This is going back tomorrow, and I expect BestBuy to replace my card as well.

    Not good Choice

    Just received this camera yesterday and it overheated on me twice. It keep dying due to heat.. even i can't shoot more 5 than mins, it keep showing alert/warning on the Screen and they turn off. Another issue is horrible battery life, I fully charged lastnight but it won’t stay more 30 min of shoot.. Another issue is it keep toggle change the Auto Focus, i assume the custom Product showcase C2 is causing this.. when i shooting my birds inside the cage the bird cage is focusing on the Video not the birds.. I turned off Product Showcase set off but still it change automatically

    Buyer’s remorse

    Buyer’s remorse!!! My problem has nothing to do with the camera but with Best Buy and the sale of the camera. Best Buy should be more competitive. For the price you pay for this camera alone from Best Buy you can get this exact same camera for the same price BUT WITH ALL THE ACCESSORIES INCLUDED with several other stores. If you want this camera do yourself a favor and purchase from somewhere else so you won’t end up having to buy accessories you’ll eventually need separately.

    Do Not Recommend

    This camera really disappointed me. The battery life is almost non existent. It is very difficult to change the batter once a tripod is on it. Lightning and stability is very poor. Almost all of my videos are unusable.

    Constantly overheats

    Got this camera for video podcasting and it co scantly shuts off 10-20 minutes (in our well air conditioned studio!) due to “overheating”. It’s *extremely* frustrating for a camera this expensive. Returning and do NOT recommend.

    Horrible camera. Extremely overpriced for what you're getting. Super misleading name too. "Content creator" camera. No. Returned after day and bought a used A series instead.

    Battery light did not work and would not hold a charge. Had it worked, I would have found out you cannot record more than 30 minutes with this camera. You can find this info on YouTube and online. Absolute rip off at $750.

High-quality movie recording and high-speed continuous shooting require large amounts of power. Therefore, if you continue to shoot, the temperature inside the camera will rise, especially that of the image sensor. In such cases, the camera will turn off automatically because the surface of the camera is heated to a high temperature or the high temperature affects the quality of the images or the internal mechanism of the camera.     Never had a camera that dies so quickly. It will say 2 bars and be connected to a charger and still die 10 minutes in. So disappointing for the price.

    Camera never came and Best Buy’s customer service was literally the poorest experience I have ever had. Thanks for ruining my daughter’s Christmas!
