As the title states, this camera is secondary to done at this price point. The videos and pictures produced from this camera are amazing. The only major flaw is battery life. When filming for more than an hour, the battery drops to about half, which is just not great.

The best for videos, but marginal for still photography. The lack of flash is something that I really hate. You can use an external one, but loses all the compact sense. If you want a compact camera for video, this is the best.

Im really impressed by this camera! It takes great video and yet is small enough to fit in a small bag. I got this camera for vlogging and so far its been the best choice. Great job on this model Sony!

I super love this camera. It has everything I wanted in a camera not to mention it's portable size which I can bring anywhere I go. I also like it's video quality. HD it is. Also the quality is superb! I definitely recommend this to everyone

Easy to use, fast auto focus, great picture quality, and very compact. Used it every day to take pictures and videos of my toddler. So far I am happy with this camera. My only complaint is that the location function is not stable.

I love it.. I decided to buy the sony zv1 instead of the canon g7x.. and the pictures with an external flash are perfect

The battery is HORRIBLE. I have been using 1080 resolution and the battery lasts me maybe an hour if I'm lucky. The camera and quality has been decent though.

Overall good camera with good quality But batterylife sucks, i recommend getting a extra battery Also this is more of video camera rather than photo camera. Pic come out good would use iphone 13 camera i stead for photos

It's not a bad camera, just not a great camera. In fact in comparison my iPhone 13 took better photos and had a better zoom. Biggest help I can give is look at the 14 day return policy. I thought I had 30 days to try it out but found out that isn't the case. So it will be a back up, but an expensive one at that. If you don't have a great camera on your phone the size of this camera is good for travel or to fit in a small bag for day time adventures.

This was my first camera & I loved the quality of it! Takes amazing videos.

if you’d ask me the first two years, I had this TV I would’ve given it five stars. Great picture, very good. sound without a sound bar, easy to use settings and screen setup. However, the last year and a half it has had a mind of its own. Best Buy replace the motherboard once, but once again it is, spontaneously turning off and freezing

So far no issues, light, easy to use, has some advanced features that I haven’t gotten into yet. It has some kind of hot shoe but really needs a flash!

The camera was very good but had a fatal flaw: the 24mm wife angle felt more like 27mm. This meant the camera image was just not wide enough to be held at arms length. I've returned the camera and will try the ZV-10 with changeable lenses. However, I will not buy from Best Buy. I have been an Elite Rewards member for years but the program was killed days before my purchase. A late night 2am email "change in terms" was the only notification. Poor service here for a decade long customer and when I returned the camera after 18 days I was shocked to be told that I could not return the camera. A manager took pity and gave a one time exception. I'll be buying from B&H or Amazon in the future.

Great camera! I really enjoy it and I love the quality of everything about it. The only downfall is the mechanical sound the zoom feature makes. BUT, if you are using an external mic it doesn't matter.

Needed something portable when I didn't feel like shooting with my mirrorless. The video is amazing and operation couldn't be easier. Don't even think of buying without the vlogger kit. The two are perfect for each other.

Bought it to take pictures in Hawaii all the photos and videos came out perfect. You do have to play with the settings, but pictures look amazing!

This camera is very easy to use and works well for what I need it for. We recently upgraded our technical equipment at church. We wanted to be able to record the service in our sanctuary and show live in our fellowship hall. Through the Best Buy techs, we were able to figure out how to do this; but needed a video camera that did video and audio transmittal. I am extremely "non-technical" but this camera and the connections make the task easy. I have not used this for regular photography, but look forward to experiencing that side of it as well. From looking over the camera's capabilities, I think I will be learning something new for years to come.

The camera performs well for it’s size and convenience. It performs moderately/poorly in low lighting conditions. I think if Sony wanted to make a true vlogger camera, they would scale back the 24mm back to at least 18mm so it’s easier in selfie mode to capture the vlogger/scenery/co-host. The quality otherwise is acceptable for vlogging purposes but I would say that with just a little bit more cost and size/weight of the camera, there are far superior options out there that will make stunning movie quality videos. The ZV1 doesn’t translate well to big flat screens/4K resolution TVs whereas bigger models such as the a7 models will produce beautiful and sharp/smooth videos.

I love how compact this camera is, and I am in love with the video quality. I use it to vlog and occasionally snap photos. Photo quality is beautiful as well.
