The battery life is good, but some extra batteries and a separate charger help significantly when filming all day. Make sure you buy an SD card when you buy this as it does not come with one.

You can definitely tell that the videos were taken on a proper camera now. Also sending the videos to my phone directly from the camera is quick and easy. I really like the audio quality that is captured as well. Navigating the menus and the sheer volume of options is a little overwhelming, but the defaults work great for most of what I do. It is nice to know I can tweak settings if I need to, but not being a professional photographer means I don't intuitively know what many of the settings mean. Overall great camera for the value and if you are doing online videos a good starter camera for most usage.
