    Bought these for my 6 year old so he could watch his own thing on his iPad next to me while I watch TV. They work for that, for his Nintendo 2DS and the in-car DVD player. I am far from an audiophile but these sound fine to me, I would have returned them if they didn't. I don't think it makes sense to buy expensive headphones for a little kid, so these are certainly good enough for that. It helps that they are Sony, a brand I have always trusted.

    We bought these for our 6 and 7 year olds. They are sturdy. Sound is clear. They both love them. Work great with tablets.
