These phones hardly cover your ears which I believe affects the sound and lets outside sounds in. I do like that they fold in and are in compact, but the ear phones are miniscule and I have small ears and head. Their smallness compromises the sound -- the sound escapes and outsides compete. For the half price sale they are adequate. Buy the JVC phones which are comparable in non-sale price instead. I was tempted by the sale.

If you are a acoustic evangelist, this may not be for you! These are definitely great for younger kids, my kids use them at school and home. No complaints, I would recommend if you listen to tutorials or training on the computer. Decent headphones none the less but for the price, why not!!! I would purchase again.
