You will compromise on sound quality; sometimes music comes in too low. Eventually one side will give out and you will have to repurchase. It may take months for that to happen though. Overall incredible quality for the price. Yes you can talk on these too!

It's not expensive and actually last long. This is the 5th one that I bought (1 for me and 4 for my cousins) and they all love it and it helps me during my communication class.
