These headphones are great because they arent too loud to hurt the kid’s ears but loud enough for them to block out the outer noise.

I also intended to use them on long airline flights so I could actually make out the audio side of the entertainment. They were excellent for that use although over the ear phones would have kept out the jet engine noise much better. Not as good as the high end Bose units my wife has but perfect for what I use it for.

I am pleased with these. I didn't buy expensive earphones; I bought what I could afford at this time. They are a welcome addition to my computer.
