Since they do not actually cover your ear they might be more quite compared to ear buds. I purchased because ear buds would hurt my ears after a couple of hours so I wanted something that just rested on my ears.

We use them for streaming Netflix and car trips. They are nothing special, but we were just looking for basic headphones so these fit the bill.

The first pair we brought home had one non functioning side. We brought it back and replaced it with no problem. The second pair works just fine and was a good deal for the price.

They were GREAT headphones for the amazing price of less than $10 ea. (they were on sale). They were delivered that afternoon, just before the kids got home from school. Both wear glasses, so I asked about the padding for their ears, no complaints. Very happy & so are they.

They go through two a year because they constantly taking them in and out their backpacks. So they either break or lose them and it doesn't hurt my pockets too much.
