If you need something cheap, these do the job, but don't expect a lot of bass or great sound quality out of these. The older model headphones in this same price range (MDR-V150) pack a lot more punch and I was disappointed to see that these headphones don't pack the same sound quality as their predecessor...

The only adjustment for storage is that the earpieces fold in so that the whole headset is flat, but it doesn't truly fold as an entire unit.
