The volume through the headphones is significantly less than the volume of the radio itself. That is not a happy surprise. If I am listening through the headphones, I must turn the radio volume down before unplugging the headphones. I returned these and bought the less expensive Sentry brand [with volume control.]

This might appeal to some folks but I like a more balanced approach. I don't want vocals to sound like they're coming from the back of a stretch limo while I'm seated in the front. I'm within 15 days of the purchase date so back they go to Best Buy for a complete refund. We'll find something else.
