I didn't want anything overly expensive since I was only using them for a couple of hours a day. I went in the store and saw many more expensive items when I saw these cheaper ones. I bought them (price matched through searching online and finding them a couple bucks cheaper elsewhere) and they work just fine for what I needed them for.

If there's one thing I won't tolerate it's wires that are too thin. I also don't like the ones that go in your ears. What's thst about?
