Broken when we got?

They work but both sides do not work and only one side plays sound, not sure if this is supposed to be that way. This is the second pair we've ordered like that.

Mind you, the set they were purchased to replace (temporarily while miaplaced) are a much better Bose set. Still the Sonys failed to even pass the minimal comfort test. Maybe someone likes them. I found them generally lacking in most regards.
