These headphones are comfortable and sound pretty good. They are not too loud.

I wanted to acquire a new set of stereo headphones for use with my computer at my workplace. I wanted decent audio quality at a low price, which wouldn't put me out much money if the headphones got damaged or stolen from my desk. Also, I wanted headphones that didn't have the "open cell" foam ear cups that my older headphones did -- from my experience these “open” foam type cups deteriorate and crumble over time. These new Sony headphones have a "skinned foam" ear cup design that should prevent the deterioration. Overall, these headphones provide everything I was looking for, and at a $9.99 sale price, they represent an excellent value. The audio quality is very good, certainly good enough for my purposes. The "fold flat" design makes them easier to store than those they are replacing. Since I just purchased this product, I cannot comment on its long-term reliability, but my usage will be occasional and mostly gentle, so I think it will be fine for many years. My only criticism with the product is the smooth "piano black" surface on the outside of the headphones; this surface treatment will tend to show smudges and scratches more readily than a grained surface. Also, the packaging was a needlessly complex puzzle of clear plastic and boxboard, but fortunately I only had to deal with that one time.

The sound that this headset gives you will blow you away especially looking at what you paid for it. The cord is of decent length and sturdy. The headphones fit very nicely and comfortably over your ears and the sound is great. Rich low tones and clear high tones. For the price you can't beat this one! Or for that matter, even more expensive ones!

For the sound output, the bass is pretty high and sound quality is above average.. Ur neighbor would be able to hear the song u re listening to while u would be lost in ur own world! It's a bit painful to listen for a long time. However this headphone is totally worth the cost.. For base lovers, this would be the ideal low budget headphone..

I had just bent the plug on my preferred headphones and needed a quick replacement. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked these up and started using them. They have worked very well on a plane and at the gym - both are challenging environments, and both are places where I typically use headphones. So glad I bought these!

Get what you pay for.. dont know why sony put their name on this.

I bought these earphones mainly for price, but I trust Sony products. For using them in the office and listening to music, they have proved to be worth purchasing. No problems after 2 months of use. Would not recommend for heavy activity, but for sitting and listening to music or handheld gaming, I would recommend.

The sound quality of the headphones is good, and the headphones are comfortable around my ears.

This are great for the price, sounds very good and materials are good. The only thing I didn't like was the cord length, a bit short for my use.

Good quality headphones for a great price. Last a long time before wearing out and then are easy to replace.

These feel more comfortable to wear than the earbuds. I decide to buy this so if I go on a plane trip, I hope this will cancel the noise of the plane and have a comfortable volume to my ears without being in pain on the plane, I'm done with earbuds and I like the length of the wire.

If you're looking for a pair of reasonably priced but solid headphones then look no further. Sony can always be counted on for making good products and for the price you really can't go wrong. Don't expect incredible sound but they're also comfortable to wear.
