Ever since wireless came out I've been a wireless guy. But realized that sometimes going wired is good too. These headphones worked out perfect for my use, lightweight, compact, comfortable and great sound. I use it on my laptop and IPad, nice range and not too tingy. Plus don't have to worry if they are charged up enough for my use.

The sound quality is impressive for the price. These are on the ear headphones, not over the ear. So, passive noise isolation won't be as good. However, they are quite comfortable. I could easily wear these for a couple hours while watching a movie. The physical size of the headphones make them a good choice for children. Sure, they aren't brightly colored, but I'm willing to bet the sound quality and price are much better than you'd pay for a branded set of crappy headphones. Also, I was surprised at the quality of the cord. I was expecting a thin, cheap cord. It's actually fairly thick and tangle resistant. Only complaint I have -- I wish the cord connected at a single point, rather than running to each ear piece. But, again, for the price they're darn good quality. Update: I've now used these headphones several times on the treadmill. I like them even more now. When running, you'll occasionally run into a set of headphones with a seriously flimsy cord. As you run, a flimsy cord will bounce and become seriously annoying. These don't do that at all. I love how the solid cord just hangs with minimal movement. Also, the ear pads will get a bit sweaty, but nothing a quick wipe won't rectify. I'll let you know how they hold up for exercise use.

This is my fifth pair of these headphones...my kids use them all the time. They are comfortable, reasonably priced, and have decent sound. They fold up easily for travel.

I mainly purchased these for my kids to use for studies/ lectures and they tell me that keeping them for long time (over 2 hours) does not cause any headaches and sound comes through very clear. I also tried them myself and they feel nice. Voice does comes through clearly. They are soft/comfortable, but does feel like they are for smaller heads :). Tried listening some good tunes and was not impressed by the sound but not disappointed because i knew that for $20 you wont really get headphones to really enjoy crisp and clear audio with deep bass (I have old Sennheiser CX200 plugs and they sound deeper and crispier than these sony). But, what i really like about these sony phones is that they are very comfortable and for kids they are simply perfect. I got two pairs and my kids are happy :) Recommending for vocal/voice/lectures/audio studies. Not recommending if you are looking for good audio sound.

I do not like in ear headset. This Sony headset is very comfortable to wear when I go for walk. It is not heavy – but it is not too light either (I don't want it to be too light) The earpiece are very soft – and after an hour of walking, it is still comfortable. But those that sweat a lot – just wipe it dry after you use it. It can be folded so it save a little space when you store it. I don't understand why other models (not necessarily Sony) cost so much more. This would do.

Great all around headphones, super comfy and they fold flat and travel well. They sit on ear but seal well to keep out background noise. I've been using them for years with no problems, even used them for home recording monitors in a pinch. Cord isn't super long, get an extension if you need to move around with them.

The headphones are very comfortable. I'm a person with a few ear piercings, so comfort is my top priority when it comes to headphones. They don't go around my entire ear, but the noise is still very clear. They don't block out any noise, but that's not what I bought them for, and that's not what they're advertised for lol. For $10 headphones, they're very nice.

My wife uses this when she works out at the gym. For her, it is foldable (so compact), easy to hook up to her old portable CD player and the sound is just right. She loves it so I am considering getting one for myself as it is very inexpensive and I can take it to use and hook up to my laptop when I travel for business.

These $20 Sony on-ear headphones were on sale for $10. Had a $5 Best Buy certificate, so I got these for $5 plus tax. For 5 bucks, these are 5 star! Sound is good, on-ear pads are comfortable (almost feel like over-ear), and headband adjustment is easy. Headband is not uncomfortable on the top of my head either. Just wish they had a microphone, but can't complain for $5. Wanted wired to avoid hassle of batteries dying at inopportune times, such as on a Zoom meet-up.

They fit pretty well. They are comfortable enough. Sound is pretty good, but definitely not top of the line. There are some odd sounds from physical movement of the headphones that do take away from listening experience. There's almost no blocking of background sounds. I'd say they are better than average for the price. No one should be expecting miracles from headphones at this price point.

Sonys wired ear muff style headphones are still top notchheadphones! They are simple to use , foldable so they wint break when storing them in a bag. Noise canceling amd good bass! Great for kids with tablets as well. I used these when I was a DJ in the early 2000s am 20 years later they are still great headphones!

I had a pair from this headphone line in the past, and used them until they basically fell apart (one side stopped working, and the cushioning material for the ears eventually peeled away.) And yet after trying myriad other brands, I rate these as my personal best. After my first pair died (took several years of daily use), I went on a quest to try a bunch of different headphones. After wasting hundreds of dollars over the past couple years on everything from fancy $200 pairs, cheap Amazon-branded pairs, and plenty of random ones from places like Big Lots or Walmart, I finally just came back to these for a meager $15. There's simply no beating the combination of comfort (especially for people with glasses!), sound quality, and price. I work in front of a computer for hours at a time, and almost always have headphones (and eye glasses) on. I probably have a larger than average head shape too. Every single other pair I have tried ended up making my ears hurt before long, except this one. While the construction quality is decent, I do expect to run through a new pair every couple years, but at this price point, it's really hard to complain. In summary, I am so thankful these are back in my life.

I was looking for some reasonably priced headphones that my elderly, hard of hearing mother could use to watch tv without rattling the walls of her senior living community. These work fine. Bluetooth headsets probably would have been more convenient however sometimes old school tech is the better option for older people.

The Sony ZX Series Wired On-Ear Headphones are a testament to Sony's commitment to quality and affordability. These headphones offer a comfortable fit, ensuring prolonged listening sessions are a breeze. The on-ear design provides a snug fit, reducing ambient noise and enhancing the listening experience. Sound quality is commendable for its price range. The headphones deliver clear mids, crisp highs, and a decent bass response. Being wired, there's no need to worry about battery life or charging, making them perfect for on-the-go listening. The white color adds a touch of elegance, making them not just functional but also stylish. One of the standout features is the compatibility with devices that still sport a headphone jack. In an age where wireless is becoming the norm, having a reliable wired option is always a plus. In conclusion, if you're looking for budget-friendly headphones that don't compromise on sound quality, the Sony ZX Series Wired On-Ear Headphones are a solid choice.

This Sony headphones is pretty much the cheapest over the ear headset you can find with a big brand name behind it. I really like this headphones because its inexpensive, feels comfortable, and can fold. If you don't care about having gigantic bass or noise-cancelling, and want something comfortable to use for your PC, you won't regret this purchase. And no, it doesn't feel cheap at all.

These headphones are the most comfortable phones I've ever owned. Sound quality is what i'd expect from Sony very crisp sounding mids and highs, with moderate bass. The only improvement i can think of is to have a longer cord....I use them with my guitar effects processor, so it kinda restricts my movements when im playing.
