He is delighted with them. He will be using them for both study and recreation purposes. They will also help him block out background noise when he is trying to study in his dorm room. He really appreciated the gift. The store attendant was very helpful in recommending the Sony headphones, which were within the price range we had in mind, and they happened to be on sale too!
