    The installers came to the location and looked at the situation and declined to install. They said they needed their expert on this installation. He came to the site and declined the job as well. Said he would have his supervisor / manager call me in the morning. No one called that next day or several days later. No one called. I returned to the store to return the items that did not work and requested a refund for the $200.00 installation charge. I was told that I was outside of the 10 day return window. They could not authorize the return of my $200.00 without corporate approval. I waited over 45 minutes while the clerk tried to get someone from corporate on the line to explain what I was requesting. I have not yet received any refund and probably won't. Big business front no service. Next time I am in need of a appliance, audio or video device I doubt I will look to "Best Buy".

    Did a very poor job of setting up our tv and sound bar. Would not work with blue tooth. Didn't have proper equipment to complete set up. Had to have someone else come and make it work.

    Best Buy Geek Squad sent a 3rd party installer to my home to install my tv and sound bar... The 3rd party installers told me that they were unable to install the sound bar because I needed a mount for it.. I explained to them that the Best Buy salesmen inside the store told me that I did not need to purchase a mount for it. In fact I asked them repeatedly over and over if I needed a mount and they told me no. I was highly disappointed because I already taken a day off from work to get everything installed that day. So I called the store back and they told me that I would have to come back to the store and buy a mount. I was terribly already inconvenience and plus they made me pay for the mount instead of having someone bring out the required mount for free to my home. Now I am having trouble with the sound, the sound goes in and out at any given moment. I Only had installed for few weeks and the sound has been going in and out since day one. I will contact Geek Squad cause it has not stopped.

    Nice people but not really sure I got much out of the visit to be honest. I don't have the time nor expertise to set up and get our audio/entertainment system fully operational and it's pretty much in the same state as before my inquiry.

    I specifically requested Geek Squad installation. After one failed attempt to install due to not having TV and Soundbar at store as promised, a 3rd party installer showed up a week later. The installers were nice, but not what was promised. The installers broke a vase and discarded all the instruction manuals. The damage and dissatisfaction were immediately reported to BB. The BB support team on the hone have been nice, but it has been almost a month since the incident and still waiting to hear about on replacing broken item. The installer stated he would report the damage to their supervisor and apparently never did. What is promised in store or on phone inconsistent with performance.

    2 months later and job still not complete

    I purchased this stuff around Easter and it is June 11th and my installation still has not occurred. The first installation involved a television and soundbar mounting but the mount wasn’t big enough so they told me to drive it back to Best Buy - inconvenient. Then I bought a wall mount and had it delivered in time for it to be hung on the wall and the guy that came asked me for fictitious anchors that he used as an excuse not to do anything here. All the meanwhile I am calling the store location but they don’t take calls so it goes to the central toll free number — then get transferred the better part of a dozen times until told “you should really just go to the store”. Also I got hacked and trend micro was purchased but not “activated” so it didn’t catch it. I got the full Best Buy package of geek squad and protection and chose Best Buy for convenience and it has been far from convenient.

    Pricey add-on to the TV mount but is useful to do if you own a soundbar since it provides for a cleaner and better setup for your room.

    sounds good at low volume but as you increase the volume, the sound becomes tinny, almost an echo.

    It was as if these guys never did the job before. One of them (Samuel) immediately started saying “we’ve got a problem, you didn’t pay for WiFi setup”. I said I paid extra to have it set up and mounted. It took these two 25 minutes to do the job and were out the door before I could even see if the sound bar worked. Next time I’ll pay twice the price for my own electrician. Yikes.

    Don’t use unless tech savvy

    They did great with TV’s, but not so good with the Soundbars. One wasn’t set up and the other wasn’t paired with the TV before they left. They also left both sound bar boxes right by where the tv’s were mounted. It’s worth having them mount TV’s, but not set up soundbars.

    Installation no show, 3 times!

    Spent 10k in one day on appliances and electronics, a month before I needed it delivered. The "consultant" guaranteed the delivery date and the professionalism of the installers but when it came time for delivery, I got a cancellation call 20 min before the scheduled delivery/install. It was scheduled for a week later, but then canceled AGAIN 2 days before due to "agent unavailability". The consultant I worked with did not return any calls or texts and when I went back to the store, I was presented with new options which were AGAIN changed last minute. The manager of the store also did not feel that a free installation was warranted, despite the continual inconveniences and schedule issues which wasted several vacation days from work. This store, the company, and its policies are a complete joke. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

    Goof Squad Strike Again

    Easiest thing to say here is they were hired to hang a 75" TV and a sound bar. They hung the TV over all of our outlets, which means the mount needs to be removed in order to use them in the future. The TV was mounted on top of the LG Sound bar top speakers. Looks nice - but we don't get good "talking" sound because the back ground music drowns out the voices. We adjust settings until we're blue in the face. Tried calling the Goodyear store for 3 days, and they still don't answer the phone, so hired another company to come in and re-hang the TV and sound bar. They also hung the sound bar less than 2 feet from the fireplace - oops! Whats a little heat to electronics. Our builder came in the day after and was shocked that the "Professional" Geek guys did that. So we bought a year of technical support due the large number of electronics we purchased. We would donate it to someone but we don't want anyone else to go through the same mess.

    Poor service from Geek Squad sub contractor

    Purchased this on 8/4/2023 and the setup was not completed until 9/21/2023. This company missed a total of 2 appointments, falsely claimed that parts were missing, and their technician refused to return my calls after the second missed appointment. The job was finally completed on 9/21/2023 after 2 Geek Squad visits. I have cancelled my Best Buy Plus membership.
