Terrible Geek squad remote support

Terrible customer service outsourced to India. Not worth it. Don’t waste your money. I’ve been trying to cancel the service for the past two days. They keep telling me that I should be receiving an email confirmation for the cancellation but so far I haven’t received one.

Little instruction for use given

Hours spent connecting to Wi-Fi and Google account. Still trying to learn how to access web-sites I was told would be available. No instruction book. Internet help difficult to reach. Long wait for return visit to connect existing surround system, only to be told it was incompatible with new TV without additional new cables.

Remote doesn't work all the time

That said, I can understand why it would be frustrating to have someone come out only to learn you don't have the remote needed for set up. We'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction for a remote that will meet your needs, so we can schedule for someone to come back out. I recommend working with your local store to find the right remote for you, or calling 1 (888) BEST-BUY or 1 (888) 237-8289 for one of our sales reps to help you out. Once you have the correct remote for the job, a Geek Squad rep at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 should be able to assist with getting that service rescheduled.

Speaker sound setup lasted about 7 days. I'm mad

Con Job

Tossed the remote and said "There you go" and left without sorting the wires, programming the tv or setting up anything we PAID these con men to do! Been a Best Buy customer a long time... not sure anymore...

Audio hookup for TV

Date was cancelled at the last minute,was rescheduled for three weeks later without my approval,and was offered 100 dollars off for the inconvience,person doing that was reading off a script. DONT USE THIS SERVICE unless you want a major headache from unreliable people

Delivery and installation has been rescheduled since 12-19-22 multiple times,it is still undelivered and installed andis rescheduled for delivery/install on 01-01-23.

Not a new set up. Two guys spent three minutes. I paid $79. This happened after my phone help was limited to unplug and replug device in.

here to set up remote and rear speakers

He was here for over 90 min and left.I am no better off now then when he came. A waste of money. Agents should be trained on each product. The rear speakers were getting very little sound and the agent had no idea how to correct the problem. Very disappointed.

Don't bother paying for set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The reason I upgraded my receiver was because I wanted it wo work with Alexa. The tech plugged it in but couldn't get it to work with Alexa. After he left I had to redo the entire set up to get all the components to work together. I still can't get the speakers to play from Alexa through the receiver.
