    Bose sound bar installed but hasn’t worked correct

    The Bose sound bar was installed and connected but it is not working correctly. After several attempts to correct the issues it is still not correct. I’ve been repeatedly encouraged to purchase a Sonos sound bar. Which I really do not want.

    The techs connected my sound bar and DVR but now I realize the Sony TV actually sounds better without the new system… sad to say! The Geek Squad did their job; the contract system is flawed!

    After set up service, the sound bar continues to drop in volume & we constantly have to increase the sound to watch the TV. Very frustrating. Our rear speakers are not working at all. Need to get another appt.

    The contractors were unable to complete the job. Still unable to wrap up the situation and get a refund on the unfinished work Wanted to rate this a zero, but that doesn't seem to be an option

    Did not fix the problem. The movement of the mouth and sound coming out of the mouth were not synced. The Geek kept asking me if it was better. I hesitating would answer “no”. He said he thought it was. I was the customer but guess I was wrong.

    My install guys did an install. But the explanation of the system is poor. Why not leave behind some instructions for the price I paid for the service? I am not a happy purchaser of this equipment. Difficult to learn, doesn't always do what it is supposed to. In spite of being told it was "easy" and a "no brainer".

    The guy came and agreed with me that the receiver did not sound good. He told me that there was no adjustments he could make, and that I was lied to when I was told that the speakers I got were good. He made a few adjustments, and it sounded worse when he left, than when he got to my house.

    There was no operating documentation left after installing the two expensive pieces of gear !!!! The installation concluded with the sound being weak and raspy !!! In no way a good value for the money. Design flaws in the electronics along with a rushed installation make this a bad buy.

      Adding external audio sources has become extremely common, and we appreciate you choosing Best Buy and the Geek Squad for the upgrade and installation. It makes sense that you’d expect amazing sound quality as a result, and learning that was not the outcome for you is definitely not the feedback we’d hope to hear. In many cases, manufacturers are no longer including instructions inside the packaging, but continue to offer that information online.     The agents came in and connected my new stereo with 3 components. Work for a couple of days and now does not work other than TV. Advised to check all connections and they where all connected as they had done. Then the corona virus hit and unable to get the problem readdressed.

    no information given regarding the operation of the Soundbar. I understand they had trouble setting up the TV due to my confusion of passwords etc. However, sometimes this requires more than the allotted time allocated by Best Buy.

    Been on hold for 1 hour and 22 min so far trying to get thischarge off my MasterCard. Terrible customer service. Purchased TV in May but my MC being charged today for basic audio set up. What?? I did not authorize this charge today. I had no service performed today

    Geek Squad technical ability lacking

    My AVR sound system was not connected properly. It ws hooked up as though it is a cheap sound bar. Not working correctly so i have to figure out how to move the TV away from the wall so i can correct the plug ins! Argh, 50 wasted,not impressed.
