Can go very loud sound quality not that great but overall is a good buy

My mother, 97, is hard of hearing and ruinened the tv speaker. The sound bar was cheaper than a new TV.

Ok soundbar for the price. Can't complain because it was a cheap buy.

Speakers does not produce clear sound. It seems like no difference between TV speakers and sound bar.

I purchased this on a whim after looking for a TV. It seems like a great purchase to complement my new apartment and has been very great to use for entertainment.

I was really enjoying my sound bar and last week it seems suddenly stopped working. I just purchased it in May, will be taking it back and getting a different type. Really hated that happened cause it was nice while it lasted

I never had a sound bar previously but was looking for something to help with clarity rather than having to increase volume. I read through these reviews and mostly liked what I heard so purchased this along with the optic cable. It took a call to Samsung to find the necessary "PCM" audio setting buried in the menu but all else when smoothly with the hook-up and I am, overall, very satisfied with the sound quality. It has now been 3 weeks of adjustment and my only real issue is with the remote and volume. Having a 3rd remote is a PITA but I can live with that (although finding the tiny remote in the dark can be frustrating-LOL). What I am NOT happy about is the volume control . I had already read that there is no graph or bar on screen which was a bit disappointing but acceptable. The big issue is the increments, or lack of, in volume adjustment. At least in my home's setup I am finding that the volume is either not quite enough if the fridge or furnace blower kick in or, the next step up is loud enough to disturb those in the next room. I haven't tried the bluetooth for music yet but there is no doubt the volume will go plenty high and I expect the sound quality will be fine. Even after 3 weeks I find I am constantly pushing the up and down volume buttons, all in vain as the end result is the same. I would recommend this but with this caveat and it may very well be my home's configuration as I don't recall reading others with this concern.

This was not compatible with my LG tv. I had to return it.

You definitely need a subwoofer otherwise this was no different than my television speakers

Nice sound bar for the price. Does have a humming sound when volume is turned up.

I just installed my first flat screen tv and noticed the sound was poor...but the sound bar was easy to install and worked perfectly.
