This one had bass rattle with bass boost. Sat nice on old crt hd tv

Really doesn't get very loud at all. Plan to return this.

Just bought 2 days before, and Bluetooth doesn't work.

I purchased this sound bar for a Vizio TV. I have a small set-up, nothing fancy, but I liked the idea of a sound bar. One of my friends had one and I noticed a big difference when we watched movies at his house. It includes cords for analog audio and RCA. My TV has digital optical audio or RCA, so I used the RCA first (as I didn't have a digital optical audio cord). This worked well enough, but I have an old DVD player and cable that use RCA, and new TVs have fewer RCA ports. I heard the digital audio provided better sound, so I purchased a cheap one from Amazon (basic tech there is very cheap). It was pretty straightforward to connect. I haven't noticed a huge difference in sound, but I'm a luddite who doesn't actually know the difference between RCA and digital optical audio. I connected my phone for music via bluetooth, and it provided great sounds. It sounds a lot better than just my phone and even better than my mini Bose speaker. I have a small one bedroom so it's great for this space. It may not be what you need if you have a fancy home theater set-up or a big room, but it works for someone who wants a bit more than the basics but doesn't need anything spectacular. On sale, this price is unbeatable!

This bar was a good and smart buy for the money. I needed this for my bedroom that is not that big. The stock speakers on my Vizio 42" was not cutting it even in a little room. Once mounted to the wall, I was able to tie it into the T.V and computer tower. But the fact that it has Bluetooth allows for the Echo Dot to link up for when I just want music. And the sound is amazingly full for the size and does not need a subwoofer which is good since I don't have much room. So for it has and does, I am very satisfied with it.

I already have one of these for our cabin TV and I bought another when I purchased an Insignia 40" TV (on sale for $220). These soundbars are an excellent value at $60. I haven't paired a subwoofer to them yet but I'm tempted to try it for a little more bass, but as it is it's a decent speaker setup. One thing that annoyed me a bit is when I went to the Best Buy store to purchase it I asked the sales associate if they had any more available (none on the shelves) the guy said he'll check but doesn't recommend them. I asked why and he said they aren't very good and showed me a $250 soundbar system. Really? Best Buy should be pushing these as an inexpensive upgrade to the basic speakers most TV's have. For $60 with Bluetooth this soundbar is a solid buy.

Returned item because it would take additional hardware and cabling to enable the item to be used with my current set-up. Not please with this at all.

I have a 32' Samsung Smart Tv in my bedroom and the speakers sounds like its coming from a tin can, I purchased this sound bar for 49.99 and it was the best investment I have made in awhile from best buy, excellent sound and bass for the price great for the bedroom, i was spectacle upon buying this product due to the brand but, I will say don't let that fool you, I recommend this product especially if you stay in an apartment or dorm room, it has just the right amount bass and volume so you don't have to worry about complaints but truly satisfying to your own ears, I haven't turned it all the way up yet so that should say a lot!!

I bought this unit refurbished in excellent condition. I just received this item today. It was suppose to come with all accessories and manuals. It did not come with the remote. It was repackaged poorly and the optical connection in the back is flimsy. I would not recommend not buying this refurbished and hopefully it will be better brand new.

this sound bar is okay if you are entertaining children in a box, but no good for a garage or man cave!!!! totally disappointed

Initially, I wanted to buy an open box Vizio soundbar from the sales floor, but was told that it was not working anymore, so I opted for this Soundbar. I wanted to use it for our guest room, and small TV. Unfortunately the soundbar didn't work. Maybe it was just this particular one, but tried different ways of connecting it. Decided to return it. I cannot say if the sound was decent since it did not work.

Purchase sound bar to augment flat screen speakers. Sound okay, but volume is barely louder than the existing TV speakers.

I picked this up as a black Friday sale and returned it the next day. I wanted it for a out side TV I mainly watch football games on and wanted to be able to hear the announcers better. This was no louder than the stock TV's speakers but sounded was worse. I feel this would only be good for some one that has blown stock speakers. For the price of this not on sell you can do way better.

i had recently purchased a Samsung TV and the built in speaker's are not loud at all for a large living room, i had to keep the volume at 80 to get some sound out of the TV to be able to hear what is on TV, after purchasing this Insignia soundbar which improved the sound quality dramatically and having bluetooth on the soundbar is helpful while streaming music thru your phone. now this soundbar is by no means a replacement of a proper surround system but it's good for improving sound from your standard built in TV speakers.

I recently bought a 50-inch Insignia 4K TV and the built-in speakers were kind of weak. This sound bar made a HUGE difference. I can hear and understand speech much better and sound effects sound better too. The volume is also much greater than I could get from the TV speakers so I can now hear the TV when I walk out of the room into the kitchen. I strongly recommend not using the cables that come with the TV. Buy a Digital Optical cable instead. It will give you the best sound possible from the sound bar. Overall, this sound bar is a no-brainer upgrade to almost any entry-level TV audio.

I purchased a 40 inch Hd Insignia tv and have been very pleased with the picture and performance. A month after this purchase I decided to buy the Insignia NS-SB316 soundbar which was on sale for $70 not knowing if it would make much of a sound difference or not. To my surprise it makes a huge difference. I am not very good with technology but found it quite easy to hook up to my cable box. The sound is rich and full and clear and I really like the added bass when viewing tv shows and sports. The MUSIC CHOICE channels provided by my cable service also sound really good. I cannot comment on how this soundbar is with video games and home theater as I do not use mine for either. However, I can highly recommend this soundbar if you are looking for a soundbar that will give you a much better sound than you are getting from your tv speakers alone.

Clarity is awful. Sound is muffled on all settings with new cords. I will be returning it.
