plenty of power for most rooms ,1/2 price originaly,if you want higher highs or lil more bass,this is the one,highly m recomend this unit for people who want clearer sound or voice

This sound bar replaced a sound plate/stand from Samsung that I paid a lot more for. The sound stand does not compare to the clarity and sound projection of this sound bar. I have it hooked up by optical (tv sound has to be set to PCM) and everything works great. My harmony 520 remote controls the sound bar too. 35 bucks for this as an open box...could not go wrong. Wish I bought 2. I'd say at 99 bucks this is a good buy. Try it you will not be disappointed. Oh...I haven't hooked up a subwoofer to it yet (doesn't really need one for my use), but I imagine it will sound great.

I got this on sale so take that into account. While I wouldn't have paid 100 or even 70 for it, in the under $50 category this is a winner. Sound is much better than the built in ones in my samsung tv, the bluetooth was easy to setup. The sound fills a medium sized room nicely at half volume. Some minor distortions at max volume. Yeah the remote is flimsy and buttons not so tactile but it's a small complaint for me overall.

Very good sound quality. I have hearing loss and I was not able the understand the conversations on tv but now with this sound bar I don't have any problem anymore.

I needed a small soundbar for a lunch room/conference area. This soundbar works well in the space and it's compact size means it can be stored when not in use.

Go buy the Vizio SB3820-C6. It' under $100 for the soundbar by itself and you get more sound for the buck. The 38" Vizio is the same soundbar they use in their more expensive packages except they add more or less speakers in whatever package they offer. I read the reviews on this and didn't want to spend a ton on a new soundbar when I just bought a new TV. I already had a subwoofer and thought this would be fine to use with that. Boy was I wrong....this is just a hair better then the TV speakers. If you want a soundbar that barely does the job then this is the sound bar for you. If you want something a little better without breaking the bank then get the Vizio SB3820-C6. I was really unhappy with my purchase, returned this, and got the Vizio from somewhere else. If you do get the Vizio you have to get the one I mentioned as that "3" in the product number is really important....it has a "third" speaker specifically for "voices." Makes a world of difference, plus it uses my passive subwoofer significantly better then the Insignia did.

I purchased this Insignia sound bar model NS-SB316 in mid-July 2016 without reading any reviews. Now that I have read several of the product reviews on Best Buy's website of this item, I "could" say that I am overwhelmed by some users stating that it is GREAT while others really give it a BAD rating. There "are" those product reviewers that offer a more neutral appraisal. In the beginning, after connecting this sound bar to my 32" Insignia TV and then to my 40" Insignia TV, I could not believe how great its performance was! There are 4 different types of sound to select from theatre to news, etc. and there is an added bass option and other great features like Bluetooth (if you need it!), a 3.5mm connection, and digital audio optical cable opportunity. This sound bar took my 32" TV's volume which was set at "72" without the sound bar which just passed for decent volume and once connected, it sounded like a concert hall or rock concert volume level. I used the best connection possible (i.e., the digital optical cable) and after just 3 months, the sound bar's volume cannot even reach the 70 out of 100 volume level of both of the above TV sets. I never had them connected to the sound bar "simultaneously!" I worked for several days and countless numbers of hours with people who know how to configure TV's to sound bars and the result was that this morning I had to discard this Insignia model NS-SB316 sound bar. I tried so very hard to bring my Insignia sound bar model NS-SB316 back to its original performance level, but I had no luck. Perhaps, I will take the advice of another reviewer of this item and purchase a Vizio sound bar. I'll be sure this time around to more closely read the product reviews first; however.

I really like this. Good sound. Easy install, however, I had to go back out to buy an optical digital cable because the RCA didn't work. I'm not sure why.

Awesome sound bar does a great job for the space in my room

I bought this on black friday for $47.99 and i personally think that this product is great for the money, all I use it for is the bluetooth for music, I have yet to hook up to my TV but it sounds great and has great bass for a small soundbar....highly recommended

I passed up on this some time ago, but then I wanted one it was no longer available. Walking into the local Best Buy one Saturday I saw a new one on the floor marked clearance. Except for having to buy a optical cable I got lucky. Really like it, wish the remote used a common AAA instead of a button battery.

I purchased this sound bar to fo with a new 32 in. Tv I had purchased for my bedroom. The sound quality of the Tv was so poor that I figured anything would be better and I was on a very tight budget. I bought this due to the price and decent reviews on multiple sites and half expected to be returning it but to my surprise it is perfect for my needs! The design is small enough to fit under the tv and the sound quality is FAR better than expected, especially for a sound bar in this price point. I have recommended to several friends, one has purchased and is also just as pleased.

A while back I bought an LG TV knowing it did not have good sound reproduction, but this TV was not intended for heavy use. After a while, I could not live with that TV sound. This Insignia sound bar was just what the doctor ordered. It gives excellent sound reproduction at a very reasonable price.

Good soundbar, it's average for the price, good for bedroom

I really like this sound bar. Bought it for my dad as a gift and he likes it. It was easy set up with several options for plugging it in to the TV. Bigger remote than some of the other sound bars of similar size.

Very easy installation and quick set up; sound is loud and clear, very impressed considering the price; I can't even turn it up all the way because it would be too loud!

I purchased this months ago for a the original price. I have to admit, it works amazing. Connects and pairs with any blutooth device. The sound quality is amazing and gets very loud.

Bought this soundbar to put in my exercise room to be able to hear the TV while on the treadmill. The sound is great and is definitely loud enough. Great bargain!

I bought this to use in my office at home/my smoke room set-up for my games and streaming services. Super easy to install and I love the Bluetooth function as I'll just throw my phone up and listen to music as well. I wish i got a larger one so it was more flush with my 50" but still looks pretty good. Recommend to anyone.
