I was looking for an inexpensive sound bar to compliment my new inexpensive Insignia 48" Roku Smart TV. This fits the bill for the price. Much better sound than the TV's built-in speakers. Three different effects can be selected (standard, theater, and news). I like the news setting for listening to the news and even regular programs where the dialog is hard to hear over the background music. The news setting effectively cuts the background and emphasizes voices making them easier to hear. My biggest complaint is the location of the indicator lights. They are on the top of the unit and can't be seen unless you are standing over it. They can't be seen while sitting in a normal viewing position. There is a bass-boost button but it doesn't add much base because the low frequency cutoff is 150 Hz. It does have a subwoofer feed output. I tried connecting it to a POLK PSW10 powered subwoofer and it makes a big improvement for music and FX soundtracks. I would recommend it with the above issues taken into consideration. There are much better and more expensive soundbars available but I couldn't see paying more for a soundbar than the price of the TV.

It is used in a fairly large room and has good sound quality and It's easy to install

The Insignia soundbar has excellent sound for one in this price range. It also has Bluetooth, which is nice to connect your cell phone to.

It's great soundbar, I have enjoyed it without any issues. My only complaint would be that it stays on no matter what so you have to turn it off manually everytime. Our other sound bar turns off if u turn off the tv or if we set the tv timer the sound bar will automatically turn off. I do like the option of not always having to use it which is good. Sometimes I just don't need it that loud.

Easy to attach to TV and easy to use. Good sound and works well with the remote.

Bought on Black Friday. I love the great sound also Love the bluetooth!! Can connect with my phone and play my music through the soundbar.

Upgraded to this for my bedroom and works great! Great sound for a mid-sized room, like a bedroom, and is a great price as well.

Great sound sound bar. Really easy too hook up and use. The only complaint I would have is the remote. The remote is difficult to make it turn up and down. You have to hit it many times for it to move

We purchased the insignia sound bar for our living room TV. It was clearanced for $25 so you really couldn't beat the price. We already had the insignia 2.0 soundbar so figured with this one being a step up, it would really sound much better. Turns out the lesser 2.0 sounds much better (in my opinion) then the 39 watt one. It doesn't have as much bass as the other one.

Easy setup just plug in the wires your ready to go and great sound for small bar

I have a higher end LG 2.1 soundbar on my primary TV and needed a decent one for a secondary set. The sub-woofer wasn't a necessity since anything is better than the garbage speakers on today's thin LCD TVs. I paid $50 on sale for this unit and am pretty happy with the overall performance. The only thing that's missing is being able to control the volume with my cable remote.

A real nice system for under $ 100.00. Works great, and was easy to set up.
