This could be alot more impressive but all I needed was something a little louder and better sounding than my TV built in speakers. This achieved that goal.

I bought this as a replacement for my TV's in-built speakers. For the price I would say these are great. I live in an apartment and anything too loud annoys my neighbors. So this 39 watts speaker is enough for my 600 sqft hall. I didn't want to invest on the Samsung or LG sound bars that have output more than 100 watts and cost 100$ more since I can never use them at max volume. Don't expect this to shake your walls. If you are looking for power packed speakers or have a TV which already has good in-built speakers, invest on something else. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because the speaker stopped working within 7 days of purchase. I replaced it for a new one. I hope this one works longer.

Pretty good sound for it's size and cost. Subwoofer out isn't reliably good, worked OK for some stuff but mostly sounded like it was off and had to turn it up to max to get anything out of it.

I bought the sound bar from my local Best Buy retail location. I bought an open box item, so it was even less expensive than the holiday sale price. But, I still believe that this item is worth the sale price of $50 or perhaps even a little more. I'm not an audiophile, hence my need for a basic improvement to my stock TV speakers. For the price, the sound bar does a great job. The sound can fill the room and gives me more a theatre experience when watching movies at home. The footprint is also small, so whether placing on a stand or mounting on the wall it should be very easy. If you've never tried a sound bar, buy this thing.

Pretty good sound quality. It’s very unidirectional. If you’re directly in front of it you receive the best sound. If you’re off to one side you get more of a base effect.

Decent for the price point but I returned it for something better. Would do fine in a small room with a small television or computer monitor setup.

Needed something for lack of sound from a flat screen tv placed in a cabinet. This bar sounds so much better, though a little more bass would be preferable. Maybe a subwoofer attached would help.

I previously purchased a different brand called Sepchlar(?) and it sounded like horses walking on a wooden floor! This one here provides excellent quality sound... even the Bass has boom!!!

Bought this to enhance sound of my television system. Was skeptical because of good price but I have to say, it has very good sound. If your budget minded and looking for a sound bar, this is it.

Bought 2 units, one for a Christmas gift for my father and one for Myself, great sound for the money, haven't plugged in a sub woofer yet though plan to, No problems with either unit .

Like this product ONLY if you use the Optical cable (bought separately--get thye Rocketfish Digital Optical Audio Cable and NOT use the component connections that come with it. I'm a fussy guy and like good sound. Got a 4K TV and bought this for great sound--well worth it!

I needed a soundbar for my son's room, and this sound bar is exactly what he needed. The only down side is the limited number of connections. Other than that, for the price, it's well worth it.

Great for connecting to Insignia TVs. Your insignia TV remote should work with this so you won't have to use the controller that comes with it. Sound is good considering the price.

This is a clear upgrade on TV sound but it is hardly an amazing sounding soundbar. One big plus for having an optional subwoofer out on the soundbar to add extra umph

I'm sure there are better soundbars out there, but this one was on sale during the holidays and the one I purchased was an 'open box' special. For that price this little soundbar is perfect for my setup(I have never owned a soundbar before). Everything works as described.

The sound was wonderful. The problem came when I found there was no way to tell what volume it was set to. So getting back to the perfect volume you may have liked before is hit and miss.

As the first soundbar that I purchased this summer included a sub-woofer, I purchased this shorter soundbar to connect to the 47" HDTV in the dining/family area with a five dollar discount coupon that netted the sale price down to about forty to forty one dollars plus s/h. The sound bar rests on top of the min-refrigerator in the adjacent foyer that services the kitchen. The base pads underneath the soundbar are at the perfect distance to anchor the bar on the refrigerator to prevent it from shifting from side to side. Now I can listen to NFL Sunday Countdown while I cook this autumn without needing to be sitting in front of the HDTV not to mention the added resonance throughout that end of the house during the games during the remainder of the day. BTW, the first soundbar w/sub-woofer is in a bedroom/deck area at the opposite end of the residence. I am in business now for the upcoming NFL season.

This was my first soundbar. I just needed something simple for a small bedroom and this works perfectly. Only isssue was, I had to buy a separate optic audio cable to connect to my smart tv.

If your looking for a sound bar that is better quality then the tv speakers and for a reasonable price this is it. If you want top quality sound look for something a little more expensive.

Bought this to use with secondary TV (Samsung) with lousy sound. This does the job very well for a reasonable cost. Not a "high end" unit, but doesn't have "high end" price either.
