Don't expect spectacular sound, but you get to control volume and adjust tone a little (with the three presets). There is a button to add bass but the adjustment is minimal. I purchased this unit because it fits the width of my tv stand. If I get a wider stand or put the tv on the wall I will replace this soundbar.

It's powered and has 3 setting modes to suit most PC media styles. It would be better than just using the TV speakers (most likely), if you happen to live in an apartment or smaller living space and don't want to get a large amount of volume or sound. Don't expect to get a huge "theater experience" from this.. The price helps make it considerable.

Could've been a keeper

Subwoofer output is a big plus feature. Everything else about this soundbar is great, except no DD decoder. My LG TV does not have option to switch to PCM out. I could only test it on music source not TV/Movies. Sadly, had to return it :(
