I wanted richer sound, without having so much depth of sound that I became an annoyance to my neighbors. This soundbar offered the perfect balance. I got a nice diversity of tones for a modest price.

I needed something better than the 5 watt speakers in my television. It's an improvement over my television speakers and the bass is okay.

Pleased until I tried to get it to work

Yes, I followed instructions well, and I changed my sound settings on my tv. Still no sound. Unpacked and repacked it twice hoping against hope I'd just made a mistake in the hookup. No, still got no sound. Took it back.
