Cool looking, great sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm always excited by new audio gear. I also hate jamming things in my ear canals. When I saw the design of Anker's soundcore AeroClip, I was intrigued. I have a set of open ear headphones that clip around the top of your ear, but with my hair all grown out since I haven't visited the barber in over 6 months, that style is no longer comfortable to use. The AeroClip hooks around the side of your ear, and ends up looking like something that Lenny Kravitz would wear along with his giant nose ring and humongous scarf. To be honest, I kind of dig it now that I, too, look like a rocker with my overgrown mop of hair. The clips are not heavy at all, and don't interfere with wearing glasses. I can shake my head around without them coming loose or falling off, and laying down with them in bed is comfortable unless you are a side sleeper. The sound quality is pretty crisp and clear. I had no issues making sure that the clip was in the right place to hear music well, unlike the over the top of the ear style I have where it needs to be positioned just perfectly over your earhole. I ran through my usual list of testing songs, some classical, some psychedelic 70s rock, a couple dub step tracks, some old school jungle. Everything sounded top notch, no buzz but more importantly no fade out in the bass, and the treble wasn't too tweaked. When making voice calls, I whispered from a quiet room, and the person on the other end could hear me just fine. Conversations at a regular volume were crystal. I like that this pair can connect to multiple devices at once, however after pairing to an ipad, the volume coming from my phone was barely audible even when the ipad was powered off. I had my phone forget the device and tried pairing again and the normal volume levels were restored. The case charges the earclips pretty fast. The manual says a 10 minute charge gives 3 hours of listening time, and from my experience that holds true. The touch controls are very sparse. When listening to music, you are limited to play/pause and skip track. For calls, you can answer/hang up a call or you can ignore it. No volume controls via touch whatsoever. There's also obviously a lack of ANC since these are open ear style. That being said, for an open ear style, the sound I was getting even at a medium volume level was enough to drown out most conversations. I was expecting to hear more of the outside world. 30% volume is more the sweet spot for me to be able to listen to music while washing dishes and still be able to hear my wife and daughter on the other side of the room.

Amazing Comfort for all day listening
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had so many different earbuds, headphones, etc. I always struggle with keeping them in or on my ears due to pain (in ear buds) or sweeting (over the ear type). When I saw these, I figured why not because they do not go into the ear canal and just clip on. I'm so glad that I did as these are by far my favorite earbuds that I have every used. In the box you receive a case, charging cable, earbuds, and two different ear grips. I tried the earbuds without the ear grips, and it was fine, but using the soft rubber ear grips really helped keep them in place on my ear. These are so comfortable that I often forget that I'm wearing them. Usually after a few hours with earbuds I have to take them out, these I have worn for eight hours with no issues. Setup was easy and they connected to my windows laptop no problem. I use these at work because they provide great sound but still allow me to hear things happening in the office. The microphones work great, and people said they could hear me clearly. Using them at a medium to low volume they last all day, seven plus hours. I did use them for watching movies/TV. The sound is great but not as impressive as a good set of over the ear headphones. However, the comfort of these is where they truly excel, no pain, no sweeting, no pressure, nothing. Overall, these are a great everyday earbud that truly last all day and provides great comfort. Even though I have many other different ones, I would purchase these again in a heartbeat if I ever lost or damaged them.

Favorite open earbuds so far!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really liking these open ear style earbuds! I work around a lot of clients and the ability to interact with them and still have music playing is great! I am not a fan of silence so having some personal music playing is very nice. The Aeroclip earbuds are very comfortable, I've worn them all day and have had no problems. They are very easy to clip on your ear. My previous pair had the arm that went around your ear and those are quite fiddly to put on. I also like the style of them. Something different from the rest and they don't look like hearing aids. The way they come out of the charging case is even the proper orientation to easily pop them on. They are very secure as well. I've shaken my head and they just stay put. The Aeroclips have great battery life! I often wear them for 8 hrs and not run low on battery. They magnetically pop back in the case to recharge 3-4 times before the case needs recharging. It's a good thing that the case is usb-c but I would really liked to have seen wireless charging on these.

Fit and Audio balance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using the Soundcore AeroClip for a few weeks, I can say they’re a solid choice for workouts and running, but they do have some trade-offs. Fit – Surprisingly Great I was skeptical about the clip-on design at first, but these stay secure no matter how much I move. Whether I’m out for a run or hitting the gym, they don’t budge. Plus, they’re super lightweight—I sometimes forget I’m even wearing them. I have over the ear headphone with noise cancellation but using them while working out isn’t the best. They get hot or sweaty. Sometime they are hard to clean. I also have ear buds but after wearing them for an hour my ear get sore or sometime if Im sweating a lot it can slip out. Audio Quality – Decent but Lacking ANC The sound is good enough for workouts, with clear vocals and a decent amount of bass. But since there’s no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), I can still hear my surroundings. That’s fine for running outdoors, but in a noisy gym, I sometimes wish they blocked out more background noise. These will be my go to head phone at the gym. Good balance between audio, and fit while working out. Battery Life – No Complaints I getting a full week of battery before needing to charge the case/ aeroclips. I work out about 5 times a weeks around 1 to 2 hours plus using it through out the week listening to music. Best for Workouts & Running These are perfect for staying aware of my surroundings, especially when running outside. They don’t block my ears like traditional earbuds or over the ear headphone, so I can still hear traffic or people around me. And since they don’t move around at all, I never have to adjust them mid-run. Final Thoughts For fitness, these are easily the best-fitting earbuds I’ve used. They don’t fall out, they’re comfortable, and they keep me aware of my environment. But if you want ANC or deep, punchy bass, these might not be for you. For me, though, they’ve been a great addition to my workout gear.

Fit might be a problem or not
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Soundcore AeroClip is similar in many ways to the Soundcore AeroFit 2 as they are both Open-Ear headphones. The primary difference is how they fit on your ears. Also the AeroClip is usually a bit more expensive. I bought the AeroFits 2 during the last holiday season. I have enjoyed them but I did have one complaint and that was they could fall off my ear. Great for around the house but when taking them places or doing the bigger tasks like yard work I always felt like one would fall off. Because of my good experience I was very interested in trying the AeroClip with there Cip-On fit. My experience with the sound signature for these Open-Ear headphones has been very good. I find the bass amazing for the size and fit. I have dialed in a bit more highs and left the bass and mid settings on there defaults. For me that gives a bit more sparkle without changing the signature much. The Soundcore software gives you a great set of options to adjust the sound signature and save profiles. The software is easy to use, makes managing both headphones easy and generally a pleasure to use. The clear difference is how these headphones fit on the ear. For that it gets back to what you need. For pure comfort the AeroFit 2 is the clear winner. But not for every scenario like the more active tasks. Also when I first wore the AeroClips they hurt my ears. I had to put them aside for a few days. They just fit me too tightly. Coming back to them slowly I am able to wear them for longer periods of time. Knowing how to put them on and not moving them back and forth has helped. I expect they will also loosen up on their own. You can also stretch them a bit but I am not sure how helpful that is. Still they are perfect for the nice sound they provide for those more active tasks. I think they are a great option but between the two it's almost a tie and would be very hard to recommend one over the other. If the AeroClip had just a touch less clamping they would be my choice. Will they loosen up so I can forget I am wearing them, I am not sure. Maybe SoundCore can make the fit a little more adjustable on a future update. If Soundcore could add wireless charging and for me and just a touch less clamping they could be the best headphone for real world use I have ever had. I would also like to comment on the call quality which I find to be very good. I didn’t receive praise but then I didn’t get any comments from my gaming friends on Discord. That is praise since they are the first to be critical for minor infractions. If the AeroClip fit is good for you I don’t think you can go wrong here.
