Only had one week but the sound is powerful and precise! The noise canceling is the best in an ear bud by far! Even over Sony, Bose, Jabre, Samsung, Apple Pro, and some other brands I’ve tried! I literally can be heard in clarity while working in a noisy factory!!! Amazing!! Only didn’t give 5 stars because occasionally I’ll lose connection but never lasted over 10 seconds and did not happen a lot. So my true rating would be 4.8 stars if I could! Beyond perfect product for the $149 I spent on sale. I would’ve paid the normal price of $169 because the value is hands down worth it!!! Great job developers!!!

The soundcore liberty pro earbuds are a fantastic by twice in the price. The sound quality is excellent. Control over the sound it is phenomenal with multiple settings. These earbuds are nicer in quality sound than my LGFP9, Apple earbuds Pro, J lab earbuds. Which I own all of these. And now just collecting dust.

This was love at first listen. Anker Soundcore Liberty Pro 3 earbuds brought their A game to the category. Consumers are encouraged to take notice, and I think YOU are because you are reading this review. Good for you! From easy pairing to up to seven device and the ability to use them with my phone and Mac simultaneously, to the excellent frequency response, these sound delicious and won’t break the bank. Following are the salient points for call-out. Excellent ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and six microphones contribute to very good call quality with minimized background noise while concentrating on YOUR voice. Background noise is analyzed and tailored to the environment. LDAC, which is a Sony innovation that is THE audiophile-grade Bluetooth codec is in this and many of the best buds out there. They fit! With four, not three sizes of liquid silicone eartips and flexible ear wings, wearers are assured of a perfect fit that also provides built-in pressure relief for all day comfort. This combination is unusual in my experience. Find the combo that suits you and you will find the fit to be comfortable and effective at aiding in blocking ambient sound. This is where ANC settings become essential, allowing in or blocking outside sound for safety and other requirements. Get up to 8 Hours of music from a single charge, plus get 3 full charges from the compact charging case to extend the playtime even further, up to a total of 32 hours of playtime. Recharge the case using the included USB-C cable or a wireless Qi charger (not included). HearID Sound analyzes the way in which you hear music in order to create a personalized sound profile that's tailored precisely to your ears. It can also be applied to all your favorite EQ settings for more customization. This is through the Soundcore app. I took the in-app hearing test to set up optimal sound profile for my hearing. Phone call sound is also optimized with 6 noise cancelling microphones to help eliminate background noises and focus on your voice, delivering a face-to-face call experience. And there is so much more, so be sure to read the Features set in the Best Buy listing. I am itching to tell you of my experience as soon as possible. **WHAT’S IN THE BOX** • Soundcore Liberty Pro 3 • Charging case • Fit kit • USB-C charging cable • Documentation **THE SETUP** Follow the packed-in set-up directions. Download the Anker Soundcore app. Done. Using up-to-date iPhone 12, launched the Soundcore app and paired. Prompted to update Firmware. Done. Next, set up HearID, turned on ANC, launched Apple Music and looked for music in Dolby Atmos, Lossless and Apple Digital Master, the best Apple has to offer. Ah, the holiday season! What could be better than acapella group Pentatonix and their Evergreen Christmas 2021 album. These magnificent voices make all the music. It was love at first listen. I like these Liberty Pro 3 buds a lot! Next, time for a movie to see how the 3D Surround Sound does. For this, I simultaneously paired with my Mac (PC users will have the same opportunities). Launching the new Amazon Prime Video app for Mac, I chose the Amazon Original movie, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. The film is in UHD (4K) on compatible devices. Fortunately, I’m watching on a 27” 4K monitor, so I was ready for a beautiful experience, and that is what I received. **PUT IT TO THE TEST** Continuing through the testing sequences, it was time for a call. I called one of many friends who is accustomed to my calls from yet another headset or set of earbuds. He knows to tell me without asking if the audio is not so as to not know I am on a headset. Not a discouraging word was heard. He said the sound was just fine AFTER I asked. This is good! He likes nothing more than to bust my chops over headsets with inferior phoning performance, and there have been quite a few. I switched to a pair of buds costing even more than these. He thought these sounded just about as good as some that are at the $200 mark. That’s all the praise I needed. Wearing these all day, inside and outside proved a satisfying and comfortable experience. I clocked about seven and one half hours from the first full charge while using them for a mix of phone calls, movie watching and listening to music. Bass response, always a topic of interest, is balanced and can be tailored to the user’s interest. I favor a balanced approach, but others are free to set them for heavier bass, and any frequencies desired. **CONCLUSION** These are excellent earbuds, worthy of your purchase. That said, ALL user perceptions of audio devices, and video devices for that matter, are highly subjective. The advantage for readers of me reviews is that I am a hands-on, 40+ year experienced reviewer who ALWAYS keeps the average consumer in mind. The ONLY caveat is the fit. It’s not a simple slam dunk. Take the time to try the tips to find what is best for you and, yes, it is going to take some time. As well, learn how to properly position the buds in your ears. This is not a simple matter of sticking them in. There is a procedure and proper placement, with a twist. This is highlighted in the Soundcore app after connecting the buds within the app and not trying them after pairing. It will ONLY work by following proper placement procedures and then, such a pleasure. **WARRANTY** 18 months warranty parts and labor

    Top Shelf Ear Buds

Wow, Top dog in my collection These are premium ear buds. Fantastic fit and sound quality. Best bass and over all sound quality I have experienced to date. A soon as you unpack these you start to experience the quality. You get multiple size ear tips and wings to provide your custom fit. They fit great and I can wear them all day. Simple set up and I already had the app on my phone from another set of Soundcore headphones I own so I was easily able to add these new Liberty 3 Pros. First thing I noticed was quite a few more options with this set of earbuds than the others I have been using. Here are the overall features (and some commentary) within the Soundcore App. Top of the first screen will show you a picture of your ear buds and the battery level of each earbuds and the case. (this is a 5 level scale, here I would prefer a percentage) Here is a list of other selections: Ambient Sound -Noise Canceling - Active noise canceling that works fantastic. -Normal -Transparency mode (Vocal and Fully Transparent) Sound Effect and Hear ID - HearID will test your personal hearing and adjust both sound and Noice Canceling based on your personal needs and surrounding. Pretty top shelf stuff. - You can also select 3D Surround Sound, about 20 preset Defaults or custom EQ setting. Sound Mode -LDAC or Combined Audio and Quality modes are available. Controls - Here is where you can assign single tap, double tab, hold 2 seconds, tap three times to control each year bud with the controls of your choice. More Settings - Wearing detection – With this ON, the music will pause when you remove an earbud. - Device list – You can connect to 2 bluetooth devices at once (awesome feature by the way, but not available with LDAC turned on), and here you can see each of your connections and turn them off and on. - Prompt tone – When this is set to ON, each touch of the earbud provides a brief tone. This is extremely helpful in knowing if your touch was felt by the software. I still personally prefer actual buttons over touch control, but the tone feedback is the next best thing. - Fit test – Provides testing procedure to make sure you have the best fit possible for audio quality and noise canceling. - Auto power off – You can choose from 30, 60, 90, 120 min. or Never power off. - Firmware update - Quickstart guide The immediate feature I immediately liked about the Liberty 3 pro set over my other set of daily earbuds (other than the added sound quality) were the audible Tone feedback when touching the buttons, Dual connection mode, Wearing detection and the ability to set the auto off timeframe. Features I missed with some of the other earbuds I have been using. You now also have the choice to use standard Codec or switch to Sony’s LDAC. What is LDAC?- From Soundcore website: LDAC technology is for a Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified listening experience. 3x more data is transferred from your device to the earbuds to preserve every little detail in the song. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 that does offer this Bluetooth codec. I had to go into developer setting to turn it on through. Now back to the Sound – It is fantastic. These LP3’s have Astria Coaxial Acoustic Architecture..So what is that you ask? So did I. From what I learned, this is basically 2 speakers (drivers) in one. One is strictly for the bass and the other Astria driver delivers the rest of the mid and high-end sound. (Just like those coaxial speakers we put in our cars and homes back in the day to replace the single cone design) the result is a more pure sound. Calls – The call quality is great. I usually have these connected to both my phone and Microsoft Teams for work meetings. If outside, the wind and street noise is mainly removed from the ears on the other end of the line. The 6 mics and noise cancelation does a great job. Battery - I run them off and on all day at my desk throughout my workday and they last all day. Grant it, sometimes on standby. I would say I get about 4-5 hours out of them before getting the low battery alert. (I do you ANC and am experimenting with LDAC which brings the battery life down) If you use no LDAC or ANC you will are supposed to get up to 8 hrs, but I would say it is closer to 6 hrs. You can also put them in the case to recharge as the case will recharge then up to 3 times (32 hrs). Case – The only CON I can think of is the case. The slide top, backlights etc. are great, but you have to make sure you push down on the earbuds to make sure they make contact with the small pins. More than once I have put them in the case and came back the next day assuming they would be charged and to my surprise they were not. Suggestion for Soundcore – It would be nice to have audible feedback of battery level and also when you lose Bluetooth connection. BOTTOM LINE – If you want a top quality set of ear buds, with incredible sound and all the extra features these are for you. Soundcore has really elevated themselves in my eyes as a top shelf audio company. Every time I think the sound quality can’t get any better, they prove me wrong. ~Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews

First the actual product; I had read some reviews and based on that and the availability I did an online order for pickup at my local Best buy. The earbuds are amazing. Along with the app that lets you customize for your individual hearing, right and left, I couldn't be any happier. The folks my local Best buy are prompt and courteous and I give them all five stars I've never had a bad experience whether pickup or in-store purchase.

Having gone through quite a few different sets of true wireless ear buds (and beans...) and knowing that some lesser named brands tend to lean towards lower standards of design & build quality - the Soundcore - by Anker Liberty 3 Pro True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones weren't anything like I had expected. Presentation: The packaging was the first tip-off that these ear buds were going to be special. The charging/storage capsule is solidly constructed, has the almost 'required' USB-C charging connector and the magnetic holding force is perfect. The buds themselves present themselves as being truly high-end. For lack of better words, they look stylish, professional and don't scream goofy. Inside the kit is a complete set of wings & tips, so finding that perfect fit shouldn't be a problem for most people. Considering the performance level, which I will get into greater detail later, the actual buds are nicely shaped - nicely contoured - and provide a very comfortable fit. Getting the Liberty 3 Pro's paired up with my Galaxy mobile phone was easy and quick. And the Soundcore mobile app is, without a doubt, THE BEST ear bud app I've ever come across. Everything you need to configure your buds is present. The GUI is well organized and pleasant to the eyes. The battery gauges for everything are positioned right at the top of the app page. Further down the app you will find a plethora of settings to customize the sound and control the 'pass through' and noise cancellation functionality. Timing was such that I received these phenomenal ear buds just a day before I was take a series of flights across the country. Between the 737-Max and the smaller three seats across, 'Express' jet, the noise environment was perfect for testing both the pass-through and the noise cancellation. If you haven't sat mid-cabin on a 737-Max before, you'll be shocked how much high-pitched jet engine noise makes it way into the craft. Here's the amazing part... with Liberty 3 Pros set to "Normal' mode, the level of cabin noise attenuation is remarkably good... dare I say Great. And in full cancellation mode, the reduction in ambient noise is even better. Like I've stated, I've tried a good number of ANC ear buds and these perform right up there with the bigger brand names that cost in upwards of 100+ dollars or more. So that alone makes these ear buds a total win. But it gets even better. Sound Fidelity. Wow! I couldn't have imagined these Anker ear buds sounding this well-tuned. Now sure, hearing and perception of sound quality is highly subjected - but to my ears, these sound even better than those ear buds I've referred to, costing much - much more. The clarity is mind blowing, even with Normal or fully engaged noise cancellation. The Mids are right where they are supposed to be and that Bass... that Bass is more articulate than anything I've heard before in a wireless ear bud set. From my experience, most true wireless ear buds either lack any substantial Bass or present so much bottom end that you have to spend a good deal of time, fiddling around with music player equalizers to fix that boom and muddiness. Not with these! I truly believe even Bass-heads are going to like what these Liberty 3 Pro's produce at the low-end. Moving on to the app, there are included testing functions for "fit" and personalized hearing range. I ran through that hearing test and although it did change the sound profile a touch, I still found that using the default setting was still more to my liking. So again, totally subjective and highly dependent on one's own preferences and influenced by one's own musical tastes. My favorite ear buds prior to these are from that company that's been known for making excellent televisions for quite a long time. And even though their TOTL true wireless ear buds are amazing sounding, the Soundcore - Liberty 3 Pro's sound even better to me and are WAY MORE comfortable to wear for extended periods of time + they don't stick out of the sides of your head, making your look like some kind of robot or something. Most people can name off 3 to 6 of the major audio brands that sell true wireless ear buds but I can promise you, no one will usually list Anker in that short list. But they should. These Liberty 3 Pro's compete at the highest level and deserve to be heard. These are my favorite ear buds for music but they also work just fine for phone calls - not a single complaint. I'm traveling again soon and these are going with me! They are a "must have" for long flights... Pros: Excellent craftsmanship and construction Very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time Customizable touch controls just like the Big Boys Outstanding sound fidelity, with and without noise cancellation I would have been completely satisfied with just the "Normal" level of inherent noise cancellation... it's that good Sound fidelity preserved, even when you have the sound pass-through enabled, allowing you hear your surroundings or hold conversations The best mobile App I've come across, ever, with a complete set of controls and tests Clean Treble (no harshness), warm Mids and very articulate and full Bass response Excellent battery life Cons: Absolutely none! Cannot recommend these ear buds enough, they are just that good!

Liberty 3 Pro Wireless Noise Cancelling in-ear headphones are perfect headphones that are made for everyday and all-day use. These headphones are actually very comfortable to wear, great fit and most importantly sound amazing with their Hi-Res audio, noise cancellation and transparency mode. These headphones have proven themselves in variety of uses such gaming, taking phone calls, and most importantly listen to some beats and they passed every test with flying colors. So, let’s go over some of the features, PROS and CONS of the New Liberty 3 Pro by Anker. Features: -Comfortable and Light Weight- You can get the best sounding headphone but if they are not comfortable to wear, they are worthless. These headphones are super comfortable even for extended periods of time. The earcups are liquid silicone, so you get a good seal and provide all day comfort. I was able to wear these while working out, and every day use just listening to music and answering phone call with 6 noise cancelling microphones, so they can hear you loud and clear. -Active Noise Cancelling – So, normally standard noise cancelling technology cancels out ambient sound, but Soundcore has developed what they call Hear ID ANC. What Hear ID does, it analyzes your ear and the in-ear pressure and uses that to create a custom-tailored noise and ambient sound reduction. I have tested out other expensive brands of headphone and the noise cancellation on these is just as good, if not better. I was able to watch movies, listen to music without the ambient noises around me and custom tailored to me. Hi-Res, 3D sound and LDAC – The Hi-Res and LDAC music compatibility makes the music come alive. If you subscribe to music services such as Tidal, which supports LDAC truly makes for more of an enjoyable experience. LDAC feature allows for three times the data transmission from the device to the earbuds. More data allows more highs and lows and for you to have the best audio experience as possible. I have a subscription to Tidal music and I must say that the sound quality and the audio resolution is much better and makes for a much more enjoyable experience. The 3D surround sound is also an amazing feature. This feature literally makes the music sound like its coming from all around you. Its really cool. 32-hour playtime, Wireless Charging, and IPX4 – The earbuds allow upto 8 hours of playback from a single charge and three additional full charges from the case. Using the LDAC option does drain the battery a bit faster. I was able to get around 6.5 hours of playback with the LDAC option turned on. The can be charged via USB cable or my personal favorite, wireless charging. The earbuds are rated IPX4, which means the are sweat and water resistant. I have been these while working out and have not had any issues. Soundcore App - I highly recommend that you download the Soundcore app if you want to fully utilize the features available on these headphones. The app allows you to adjust the equalizer on the headphones. You will need the app to run the HEAR ID test for the personalized noise cancellation and HEAR ID audio personalized just for you. The soundcore app is truly a must for you to unlock the full protentional of the amazing headphones. PROS: HI-RES, 3D Surround Sound, LDAC Active Noise Cancellation Crystal clear voice transmission on audio calls Wireless charging case 32 hours of playtime Comfortable – Multiple earcups included CONS: None Overall, I honestly could not find anything that I was not happy with, these are comfortable, sound amazing and solid built headphones. I would highly recommend these headphones.

Way cheaper than my old beats that died after barely 1 year. Sound is good, noise cancelling is good. The only downside is listening time, maybe 6 hours max. But otherwise its ok.

They Don't Fit; Touch Controls Inconsistent

I bought -- for myself and others -- eight pairs of the Liberty 2 Pros and loved them. When my dog chewed up one of my earbuds, I thought this was my excuse to buy the Liberty 3 Pros. It was a mistake for the following reasons: - No combination of wings and ear tips fit my ears. They always feel like they're about to fall out -- and sometimes they do -- and the wings don't stay in place. - The wings are flimsy rubber and don't stay in place on the earbud so I'm often having to try to find the small tab to slide the wing over, but it doesn't keep the wing in place. - The touch sensor is not consistent. I'll tap it twice and it will register one tap. - The battery life is not great.

Noise Cancelling Mode: Up to 6 hours on a single charge/24 hours with charging case.
Transparency Mode: Up to 6 hours on a single charge/24 hours with charging case.
Call: Up to 4.5 hours on a single charge/18 hours with charging case.
Please note LDAC needs more power than other modes.

You can also try the earbuds in other modes to see if they work fine. Please make sure the earbuds are fully charged. If there is a difference of 0.5 to 1 hour between the left and right earbud, it is within the normal range.

About the fitting issue, here are the tips for you:
      - Choose the ear tips and ear wings that fit your ears the best.
      - Insert the earbuds into the inner canal of your ears.
      - Turn the earbuds to find the most comfortable position.

The Liberty 3 Pro is my first set of in-ear headphones to have ANC, so I was eager to see/hear what kind of listening experience they would provide. The product is really well-done from a design standpoint, from the one-piece matte black charging case with clever sliding lid to the ergonomic and lightweight design of the earpieces. These ship with 4 sizes of silicone ear tips and 4 sizes of ear wings that are easy to change to help you find the right fit and comfort for the earpieces to create a good seal and stay in your ears. These are also IPX4 water-resistant against sweat and moisture so would be a great fit for exercise and active folks; just note that the charging case is not water-resistant. The case itself has an internal battery, and each time you place the ear buds in them it will top them up, up to 3 full charges, when you’re away from a power source. With up to 8 hours of play time on a single full charge, that’s a combined 32 hours of playback time before the case needs to be re-charged, and with its fast-charging capability, a 15-minute charging session in the case can provide about 3 hours of listening time. I liked that the case can be charged wirelessly using a compatible Qi charging station as well as while plugged in via the included 2 ft USB-C cable. The ear buds power on automatically when the charging case is opened, so you don’t need to fiddle with on/off controls; just take them out of the case and place them in your ears. Pairing with the headphones over Bluetooth is simple and straightforward, and I didn’t have any trouble connecting with various devices like my computer or mobile phone. The earpieces automatically pair with each other and can be paired with 2 devices simultaneously. The Soundcore mobile app lets you unlock the full potential of these earbuds, though you will need to sign up for an account in order to use it. I was curious to try the fit test, as it’s supposed to tell you which ear tips create the best seal for your ears by utilizing the microphones on the earbuds and measuring sound levels outside and inside your ear canals. Thankfully the most comfortable pair of ear tips for me also resulted in a “Good Seal” result from this test. I also completed the HearID Sound Test which creates a custom profile of the sound curve that each individual ear can pick up. With this feature you can apply EQ settings that are optimized for your ears rather than a generic sound profile, for me the result was a fuller sound with superb balance across ranges. I also tried the 3D Surround Sound Effect, but I felt this resulted in very bright and sizzly sounding audio that widened the sound stage but didn’t exactly feel immersive. With the in-ear audio optimizations the audio was very clean and detailed, even at moderate to low volume levels. There are three different modes for active noise cancelling: on, off (normal), or transparency mode, which uses the noise cancelling mics to pass through ambient sound from your surroundings to your ear while music is playing for more situational awareness. There are two settings within Transparency mode for general ambient noise or vocal focus, to pick up voices better in a loud environment. When activated, the active noise cancellation (ANC) was very effective at reducing constant background hum like equipment fan noise and helped to drown out other persistent sounds like background chatter, but punctuating sounds like keyboard strokes still managed to come through a little. I did appreciate that turning on ANC didn’t affect the color of the sound or quality of the audio playing through the headphones. Transparency mode really did help accentuate the sounds around me that would normally be blocked even without ANC turned on, which is useful if you need to pay attention to your surroundings, for example, listening for announcements at the airport. Just note that by default the on-ear control for turning “off” ANC actually switches to Transparency mode, rather than “normal” mode, though this behavior can be changed in the setting on the app to toggle between any of the three modes. The app also lets you customize the touch controls and each earpiece can perform different actions using a single, double, or triple tap as well as a long touch (2 seconds), so even though volume adjustment isn’t a default control, you can add it using your preferred touch gesture. For example, I added a triple tap function to trigger the voice assistant, so I can talk to Google Assistant quickly without taking my phone out of my pocket. The one area I think these could improve on is latency. When listening to music or a podcast this isn’t an issue, but when watching video on my phone and computer (with Bluetooth 5.0 support) I did notice lag and sync issues with the images on the screen matching the audio with a slight but detectable delay. These headphones can also be used for taking hands-free calls and both the audio and mic quality were fine for that purpose. The one thing I had a hard time with was comfort when wearing these headphones for a long time. Because the curvature of my ear is kind of shallow and the body of the earpiece is wide and chunky, with only a short neck at the eartip, the hard plastic body of the headphones is constantly pressing up against the lower curve of my ears, and I can’t wear the headphones for longer than an hour without feeling discomfort at the contact/pressure point. That’s a major bummer because I can’t use these for extended periods, for example on long commutes or lengthy work meetings and have to fall back on my on/over ear headphones which don’t travel as well due to size. Overall, the sound quality of the headphones and active noise cancellation are very good. The customizable EQ settings are great and make everything sound crystal clear and crisp, and using it with my Android phone allows me to take advantage of LDAC support for hi-res audio. They're tiny and portable with lots of battery life, however, these weren’t the best for watching video content due to perceivable latency, and I found them uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Memory foam ear tips might help me out comfort-wise, but the contact pressure from the body of the earpieces would still be an issue for me.

Outstanding ANC earbuds by Soundcore, which is an Anker brand. I was kind of surprised to see them put out a set of ANC earbuds at this price point, but they more than live up to their reputation for quality, performance, and value. In fact, the Liberty 3 Pro feels like a significant step forward for an Anker product and I’m excited if it's a sign of what’s to come. Not only do these earbuds sound great, but you can run a diagnostic with HearID to tune the sound to your hearing and it sounds amazing. Not only does this make music sound better, but it helps prevent people from turning the volume too high because they can’t hear “everything”. This results in fine, detailed, and balanced music without having to blast your ears, which in turn prevents hearing loss. It’s a win-win, and a feature I hope to see from more headphone manufacturers. Talking about saving your ears… The Active Noise Reduction does a great job with a proper seal. It’s customizable through the Soundcore app, which lets you choose between an Adaptive or Manual mode, with tests to tune the ANC based on the earbud seal and current environment. It works well cutting out noise in most situations, though I had some issues while mowing the lawn. I had the ANC in Adaptive mode and at times it would frequently jump between more aggressive and lighter noise reduction. I think this is because the earbuds started shifting around, which loosened the ear seal and caused the ANC to constantly adapt to a new noise level. It’s the only time I had any kind of issue with the ANC, but I think switching it to manual mode will fix it. On the other hand, I’m very happy to report that the Transparency ANC mode, which lets environmental sounds pass through without having to remove your headphones, works very well. There’s a good amount of clarity and range of sound that passes through, and the vocal focus mode really helps in hearing people more clearly. I’m usually upset when I have to download another app to go with my headphones, but with the amount of tuning and personalization features available in the Soundcore app, I’m more than happy to have it. In terms of build quality, it's typical high quality Anker. No fuss with that here, but I’m pretty impressed by the design. The earbuds themselves are relatively low profile with looks that belong in the lux segment. I absolutely love the case, which easily fits in any pocket and looks slick with a door that slides open. What’s even more slick is that it’s wireless charging compatible, making it super convenient. I know it sounds lazy, but if you have a wireless charger, you feel me. I highly recommend the Liberty Pro 3 if you’re looking for a high quality set of ANC earbuds. They sound outstanding with crisp highs, detailed vocals, tight mids, and respectable lows. Fitment is key, but that’s why they come with 4 sizes of ear cushions and wing tips to accommodate most ears. The HearID sound calibration and tuning options in the Soundcore app are worthwhile and make these a very strong performer. Highly recommended! PROS - Outstanding sound quality - Detailed bass - Truly personalized sound tuned to your ears - Good ANC transparency clarity - LDAC high quality sound mode - Lots of tuning options in Soundcore app - 3D surround mode - HearID is awesome and prevents hearing loss - 8 hour earbud battery life - Case can charge wirelessly - Sliding door case is slick - Attractive and well built - Comes with many fitment options CONS - Noise reduction can seem a bit confused at times. Likely fit related. - Takes a bit to get used to touch controls

I’ve never used any of the premium line of headphones from Anker prior to trying out the Liberty 3 Pro’s. Having tried various headphones, I was surprised with both the fit and the sound quality produced without any adjustments. In the premium packaging you’ll find the ear buds, a wireless charging case, various sized soft tips for a personalized fit, a USB C charging cable, a warranty manual, and a user quick start guide. You’ll need to spend some time trying out the various sized soft ear tips, which are easy to install, to find the right set for you. I’d also recommend looking at the setup tips on the packaging, or reading the quick start guide, to get a good understanding of how to get the best fit for optimal sound. Pairing simply required opening the case the first time and selecting the headphones on the Bluetooth device list on my iPhone. The free Soundcore app allows you to perform a quick firmware update, check the battery status of the earbuds and the charging case, and also personalize the touch controls & taps. You can also perform a “HearID” test, which is similar to a hearing test. After asking your age range, the app guides you through various high and low tones, asking you to confirm whether or not you can hear them each time. Based on your results, the app then calibrates the sound for each ear bud, by adjusting the various EQ to provide the best listening experience. After running the test, I did notice an overall more enjoyable sound profile, especially with alternative or acoustic audio. There is also a separate Fit Test, which can be found in the additional settings page in the app. Here you can make sure you’re getting the best noise cancellation and audio while wearing them. Over the course of several days, I found myself reaching for the Liberty 3 Pro headphones more often than my AirPods. They provided a better overall detail, and the bass response was hitting much more enjoyably compared to others I’ve used. The Noise Cancelling is on par with another premium pair, while maintaining a much higher quality audio experience. It’s hard to explain just how good these headphones sound. Watching movies during a recent business trip, I was amazed at just how well these elevated the viewing experience, while doing it’s best to block out environmental noise. The transparency mode also works well to allow pass through of your surrounding ambient environment noise, without over amplifying it. Battery life ranged from 7 to 8 hours if I had them on all day with noise cancelling enabled. With the battery case, the packaging claims the headphones will provide up to 32 hours of listening. I have no doubt, as outside my first use, I have yet to have them die on me. I also appreciate the presence detection, which helps to essentially stop any playback when the ear buds are removed and continue when put back on. The touch controls can be customized for each corresponding tap from single to triple taps. Want the single taps on each earbud to be volume, easy! Would rather trigger Siri or Google Assistant, add it! The tap controls are responsive, with an audible tone playing to confirm each action. There are even “Sound Effects” settings, where you can toggle your HearID sound profile, enable 3D Audio, turn on the default Soundcore Signature EQ, or set your own custom EQ. It was that settings page, where I realized just how much better the HearID Sound profile was compared to the others. I’d challenge you to go through and try each, and see if you agree! I can honestly say these are the first “Hi Res” wireless ear buds I’ve used, where I believe the hype. The sound quality is much higher than I was expecting. The charging case is about the same size of my AirPods case, the various ear tips and wing sizes allow for personalized fit, and the app experience is simple yet very effective. I haven’t run into any disconnects in my weeks of use, the battery life has been great, and the wireless charging makes keeping them powered easy. I’d highly recommend giving these a try.
