Best for High Resolution Audio /w LDAC enabled

I own numerous true wireless earbuds and the Soundcore - by Anker Liberty 3 Pro produces the best sound for Hi-Res Audio out of all of them on services that have it like Apple Music, Amazon Music Unlimited and Tidal, although this is not out of the box as you need to adjust some settings, but only is slightly better when it comes to music services with only standard audio. (Pandora & Spotify) The Liberty 3 Pro offers impressive sound quality, good Bluetooth connection, strong Active Noise Cancellation, and great battery life. On setup you need to place ear buds in case to turn on, update firmware and in my case, charge then you download the app which prompts you to create an account. After that it informs you to update firmware. (Firmware will not update if battery life is under 20%) I wanted to try out the much-hyped HearID feature which I was skeptical about. HearID Sound analyzes the way in which you hear music in order to create a personalized sound profile that’s tailored precisely to your ears. It can also be applied to all your favorite EQ settings for more customization. Also, HearID settings can be used to optimized Active Noise Cancellation, what it does is perform a hearing test on each ear with tones. Then I selected LDAC codecs for the best Bluetooth quality Note: choosing this option will shorten your battery life. Sound quality on Amazon Music Unlimited is excellent with the HearID settings (this feature seems to work well) and I was quite impressed with the tracks that played in HD, Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos. Sound was crisp with dynamite range and good bass response but not distorted. I did try all the other sound options: EQ setting (presets and manual) and 3D Surround option (seems more like a gimmick to me as this mode did not impress) with HearID settings being the best out of the two. Since I wanted to compare regular standard audio against HD, I played Bob Marley’s “Is This Love” on Amazon in Dolby Atmos compare with a standard version of the same song on Pandora (to give better context here Pandora streams music in 192kbps AAC VS Amazon’s 24bit / 192kHz FLAC) with the Doby version being noticeably better. While playing the same song in standard version when comparing the Soundcore against an affordable competitor on both earbuds, the Soundcore was only a little bit better. The Liberty 3 Pros have hi-res wireless certification, thanks to support for the LDAC codec. My Google Pixel 6 supports LDAC and many other Android phones, but Apple does not. When you don’t use the LDAC option and select the normal the AAC codecs with HD, Ultra HD, Dolby Atmos music and then compare Liberty 3 Pro with other Non-Hi-Res lower priced earbuds from Sony and Google. The Liberty 3 Pro’s do sound better but not by much just not a dramatic difference, and I tried multiple songs from various music gernes from Tyler the Creator to Radiohead. These earbuds felt a little awkward in my ears when it comes to fit at first and are less comfortable and heavier than others I’m used to, but after a couple of days I did get use to them. Touch controls, ANC & Muti-Mode Transparency features seem to work well. Call quality is good with unit having Multipoint Connectivity that can simultaneously pair 2 devices and store up to 7 devices within the Soundcore app to change between multiple audio sources. IPX4 rating certifies protection from exposure to sweat & water. Battery life is 8 hours from the earbuds. (32 hours total with case) with 15 minutes quick charge that gives 3 hours of play time. If you listen to Hi-Res stuff and want the best audio quality in this price range then this is a good choice especially since other Hi-Res compatible earbuds are priced much higher, but Spotify users don’t have HD options yet and standard music does not really blow me away on these earbuds with if not sounding much better than current mid-range earbuds, although Spotify HiFi with HD music is coming out this year so Spotify users who want good HD quality sounding earbuds in the future is where the Liberty 3 Pro excel at.

    Excellent earbuds with exceptional sound

Verdict: The Liberty 3 Pro earbuds deliver exceptional sound with a powerful technology package and fantastic active noise cancellation (ANC). These are my new go-to earbuds for working out, commuting, and listening on-the-go. I love these earbuds, and I am now very much paying attention to what Anker is doing in the music space. Initial impressions. Wow, what a cool unboxing experience! I love that all the ear tip and wing tip options are right there, front and center, and then there are clear instructions right there on the left flap. Hidden under the left flap are the instructions and the USB-C charging cable. Really nice job to the packaging design team. I was a bit confused about how to open the case at first, but then I realized that you slide it up… cool! Never seen that before. App. I already had the Soundcore app installed on my phone from another pair of earbuds, and the app recognized these new earbuds right away. I really like the Soundcore app because it expands the capabilities of the earbuds in so many ways. First, it allows for the customization of touch functions, so that you can choose what taps perform what functions, and you can customize the hear-through mode. Second, it allows for extensive equalizer modifications. And lastly, specifically for these earbuds, the app will run a series of audio tests to identify your sensitivity to certain frequencies, and then it offers a customized equalizer for your ears, called HearID. The app also provides access to quick guides on how to use the earphones, customer support channels, auto power off timer settings, and a powerful customizable white noise function. Anker has truly leveraged the Soundcore app to expand the capabilities of the earbuds, and enhance the user and listening experience. Sound. I tried several of the default equalizers, and then I tried the custom HearID after taking all the hearing tests, and I absolutely love it. The music sounds richer and more balanced. I know from previous medical hearing tests that I can’t hear some frequencies as well as others, so perhaps I didn’t even know what I was missing when listening to music?? Thank you Anker and thank you HearID for the new hearing experience. I love the sound experience. Overall, the earbuds shine on all aspects: the lows are deep and powerful, the mids are solid, and the highs are rich. The sound remains crystal clear even at higher volume. Combined with the excellent passive noise cancellation design and the ANC feature, the earbuds erase the outside world and provide an immersive experience. The earbuds provide the whole package. Controls. Thanks to the app, I was able to program the earphones to do everything I want them to do: volume up/down, skip forward/backward, (fast access to) hear through, play/stop, and smart assistant. I LOVE that the earphone provide tone confirmation of commands. Because I have so many commands programmed, tone confirmations allow me to hear the number of tones to confirm what command the earbuds received, and I can adjust from there in case I missed a tap. Things I love: - No-hassle setup - Very comfortable with customizable ear tip and wing tip sizes - Excellent range… I actually left my phone a the gym and got to the parking lot before I lost sound… then I quickly went back to get my phone. Lol! - Small case with a cool slide-up lid - 8 hours of continuous playtime, and 32 hours total with the case - The excellent app enhances the user and listening experience - Exceptional sound - Voice calls work well - The case is wireless charging compatible - Voice assistant is easily accessible if you program it - IPX4 rated: protected from sweat and water - Connects to two devices simultaneously - It uses USB-C Things I don’t love: - These earbuds are not cheap so I think that a “Find My Device” feature would be useful. I really don’t want to lose these because they are great - The earbuds are not the smallest; they stick out of the ears a little, but it's still worth it for the sound quality and all the features - The auto-pause feature lags a bit. Maybe this can be fixed with a software update Conclusion. These earbuds are my new go to. They are all-around exceptional. I love you them and recommend them over any other pair or brand that is in this price range, and even a ways higher. I didn’t think about Anker very much before; I am certainly paying attention now. Well done!

Pros: sound quality, noise canceling, lightweight, customizable wings & bud tips means a good fit, a lot of touch controls (4 per side), often goes on sale, case holds a long charge Cons: touch controls are finicky, there's no way to turn them off without putting them in the case (if you take them with you somewhere & leave the case behind, they will stay on until they die), touch controls will trigger even with the bud out of the ear (if you take 1 or both buds out & hold them in your hand it will trigger the controls while you hold it), not sure if it's just mine, but the right bud has trouble getting in/staying in the EXACT right spot to charge. I have pulled out the bud form the case only to find it dead several times.

Wow these come very close to being a perfect earbud set. Love the case that slides the earbuds are held very well with the magnet .they don't budge unless you grab them out . Anker has definitely upgraded the app and these earbuds from other ones I have used. At this price range these are a steal . Noise cancelling is very good not perfect but almost there. The fit is comfortable . They do stick out which was a little annoying when I wear my helmet . The ambient sound or passthrough mode is weak. Would like the mics to pick up noise a little more . I did appreciate the wind reduction mode. Watching tv or movies sounded amazing and for music it's just wow. I'm using an Android phone so I can use the Ldac mode which is off and you have to download it to use it. This is for hi-fi music lovers who appreciate all the nuances in music . For iPhone users it uses aptx hd. Close enough . Phone calls were clear and mic was good even with background noise .

    Excellent sound and noise cancelation

I love these headphones. I was immediately impressed with the design, noise cancelling and sound quality. I have used other Anker products and they have always been solid - these earbuds are no exception - they are not inexpensive, but they are an excellent value for the performance they offer. My biggest issue is that my wife tried them and now she wants to trade me for her nearly new over-ear headphones. Pros - Sound quality and volume are great. These are easily the best ear buds I have tried and are even much better than my over-ear noise cancelling headphones. Treble and bass are powerful and well balanced with clear highs and tight bass. The soundstage is good (there is a 3D equalizer mode to expand it more, but I prefer the custom equalizer). - Noise cancelling is very effective. At around 50% volume the tight seal against the ear and active noise cancelling block out all but the loudest background noise. I have more than once missed my wife or daughter talking to me while I was working at my computer and listening to music. Thankfully there is a pass thru mode that allows you to hear background noise when desired. - Comfortable and secure fit. I was able to wear them comfortably for over 3 hours and hardly noticed they were there. - Soundcore app offers a lot of customization. It allows you to fine tune the noise cancellation and equalizer to your ears using a few test. - Charging case recharges the ear buds and protects them. The case can be charged via USB-C or wireless charger (I have a wireless charger on my desk and it is very convenient). The case has LEDs to indicate battery level and connection status. Battery level of both the case and earbuds can also be seen in the soundcore app. - Works well as a headset. Phone calls were clear on my end and people I called all agreed that I sounded as good or better than when using my cellphone. - Touch sensitive controls that are customizable using the app. Things to Consider - These earbuds come with a variety of sizes for the ear tips and wings that fill your ear. They fit well for me, but I used the smallest ear tip and second smallest set of wings. I would say that my ears are average, so they might be a tight fit for some people or teenagers. - Enabling LDAC (high quality audio connection mode) and noise cancelling reduce battery life to 4-6 hours (versus 8). I typically use streaming music services, so I have LDAC off, but I have noise cancelling on. - These headphones at water resistant for things like sweat, so they should be fine for working out, but they are not meant to be submerged or spayed (no showers). The case is also not water resistant so it should stay in the gym bag.

Nice and clear ANC personal earbuds experience

These are my favorite in-war headphones that I own. A bold statement, especially as I already own a pair of Apple AirPods 2 for my iPhone. I wanted to test these outs because of their ANC quality. Upon opening the box it came in, I was immediately drawn to the sturdiness of both the earbuds themselves. Equally, that it came with 5 earpiece tips and 4 wingtip sizes was an added bonus. I think I spent more time trying to figure out which ones fit best in my ear comfortably. Setting up took some time. I selected the right size ear tips and wingtips, placed them back in the case, downloaded the Soundcore app, and began the set up. I spent time with the set up where it is customized to my own personal noise cancelling profile. It is basically a hearing test where you carefully listen for sounds and the app remembers and tailors the quality for you. This enhanced my own listening experience and made it even more enjoyable. Using it on a daily basis is such a joy: watching moves/tv shows, music, phone calls and zoom meetings, I have clear and crisp sounds as well as really clear calls on the other end with great clarity. During my daily morning zoom meetings on the road, my team stated I sounded crisp and clear, as if I was not in a car with noisy traffic. The ANC feature is really great to as you have three settings to choose from: Normal, Transparency, and Noise Cancellation. I felt transparency mode was rather odd sounding when I was watching at night as it picked up my fan in the room. They feel really comfortable in my ear and never felt heavy or cumbersome. Playing time ranged around 7-8 hours before needing to recharge, with a standby time of around 30 hours. The only complaint that I have is the charging case slides open. It feels somewhat flimsy and I m afraid that I’m going to open it rather hastily where it may break. Also, placing the earbuds in there is somewhat odd in design as naturally I want to place them in is opposite of how they want it in there because you have to rotate them around for them to connect to the charging docks inside. Overall, I really enjoy these Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros. By far my favorite headsets that I own.

These have just become my "Go-To" earbuds! I use earbuds when doing construction work, yard work and exercising. These Anker Liberty Pro earbuds have just moved to the top of my favorite list. There are many of features to be aware of: - LDAC tech for Hi-Res Audio - HearID personalized sound - really nice work here! - Multipoint connection (pair to two devices) - Transparency mode - 8 hours playtime and 32 hours of charge in case - 4 sizes of liquid silicone eat tips - 4 sizes of flexible ear wings Overall - great fit in my ears - haven't had an issue yet! Sounds is great and bluetooth is strong! Soundcore App provides good functionality and is required for firmware upgrade. I'm very impressed and I think you will be to!

Compared against - Sony WH1000-XM2, Airpods Pro, Jaybird Tarah, Jaybird X2, ATH-M50x, Sony MDR100ABN. Used for - music & work calls. Occasional workouts. My typical tuning preference - little punchy bass, flat everything else. Sound: Out of the box - pretty harsh trebles, good boomy base, clear mids. Everything except for the high freqs sound good. With tuning - HearID made it much worse, the trebles got amplified even more, making cymbals, 't' sounds and 's' sounds extremely annoying. Even the base got amplified which I disliked. Turned off HearID and actually attenuated the higher freqs manually in the EQ. After breaking in - I don't know if I've gotten used to the higher high-freq response, but they don't sound as harsh now. TL;DR - Good sounding earbuds with extra punchy base (for bassheads), trebles might need to be tamed in eq. Good mids, clear vocals (for phone calls and podcasts). Good instrument separation, no muddled bass. Battery - with ANC off I get about 4 hours of music. Not exactly as advertised but I'm fine with that. Fit - Using the smallest eartips and the largest wing tips. These stick out more than I would like to, makes it look a bit goofy, the earbuds are not small by any means. They do tend to slip during workouts and while chewing food. However they fit pretty well for all other use cases ( which is a big plus for me, I had not yet found a good fitting pair until these) ANC - don't really stand up to Airpods Pro or my XM2s, but performed well on flights. Doesn't do too well in blocking out voices though. Other Features- 1. Absolutely LOVE multi-point at work. I can listen to my music/podcasts/Youtube on my phone while being available for a Teams/Slack call at the same time without worrying about switching devices. By far my favorite unexpected feature. I will never buy a pair without this feature ever. 2. 3d surround/spatial/whatever its called - not a fan, disabled and would not recommend using. 3. Putting the buds in the case takes time getting used to, thus sometimes they stay connected to my phone without intending to. The inside of the case also gets dirty since the eartips touch the insides of the case. The case needs work for sure in the next version. 4. Unboxing experience was fun. 5. Can use only one earbud at a time (either one), I prefer this over the transparency mode (which I don't care about). 6. Occasional connection issues when the phone is in the pockets. I hope they add the Bluetooth case transmission feature from the LG Tone Free FP9 and B&W PI7 in the next version :P

I used these almost daily for 2 years straight and still going strong. Sound quality fantastic, I wish the volume went up a little higher but its loud enough. Battery of the case is excellent, the buds last about 3-4 hours with continuous use at max volume. Connectivity - I've only had one issue recently, but it worked after disconnecting and reconnecting it to my phone.

I've owned a lot of earbuds over the last few years, and generally look for ones that bring the bass but also fit well and allow a lot of customization. These check all the boxes and more! First and foremost, the fit is incredible. They give you 4 sets of tips and wings to make sure you get a great fit. After suffering through the Galaxy Buds Pro fit nightmare (great sounding buds, wouldn't stay in my ear), these are a dream. Even better, the app has a feature that confirms that you have a good seal. The sound out of the box is on the warm side, but you really need to download the app to fully customize the sound to your liking. There are tons of good presets, a full EQ to create your own preset, and the HearID setting that is based on a full hearing test and set to your results. If you like bass, these crush it, however if you don't, you can have as little as you like. Also, the sound stage and overall sound is just incredible. I used a Liberty 3 in one ear and Galaxy Bud Pro in the other and there was just no comparison. The ANC is above average, and if you use the app to tune it using HearID ANC, it will adapt to your environment. Pretty cool stuff. The transparency mode is good and also adjusts its level based on your surroundings (if you want it to do that, it is optional). It has a wind noise reduction setting that helps if you use them to jog or bike. I took them on a 4 mile jog, cut grass in them, and at no point did I feel that they were going to come out of my ear. I don't even remember having to adjust them. Just solid fitting buds. The app is also the best I've seen. Comparable to Jaybird's level of EQ customization and features, but implemented in a much more user-friendly way. I feel that these are definitely worth the hype and if you are in the market for a pair of high quality earbuds, these should be at or near the top of your list.

I knew the Soundcore Ear buds would be great once I opened the box/packaging. Typically manufacture skip out or cut corners when it comes to packaging. I am extremely impress with how the box opens up and the different inner and outer ear pieces are laid out. The Soundcore Ear buds come with 4 different ear pieces. You can definitely find the right fitting with the different selection. The sound quality is superior. I couldn’t tell the difference between my other more expensive wireless ANC inner ear buds and the Soundcore Ear buds. I’ve been using these for over a week now. Around the house with crying and scream kids. ( the ANC work well). At the gym, running, jumping, basketball, and lifting weights. The ear buds felt secure and never fell out. Definitely recommend these to my friends. They are a better alternative to the more expensive brands out there.

I bought these to replace some Soundcores that I accidentally broke and it was quite the surprise. I didn't think I would find a better earbud set until I got these. The sound quality, active noise cancelling and the sound customization through the app makes it just incredible. Love the wireless charging, battery life and compact size of the case. If youre looking for clear sound, deep bass, and a comfortable earbud then these are the ones for you! I'd buy another pair if I needed another set.

I love trying out new headsets. I thought these would he the one i finally settled with. I love the sound of these. They have excellent bass. The calls are very clear on both sides. They stay in my ear. Whats making me take these back? They dont stay connected. Ive bought two different pairs and have the exact same problem in both. Either they will say connected but you can’t hear a thing. Or they constantly disconnect. I have tried this on samsung and iphone and the problem is the same. At the price point, this should not be an issue. If they fix that issue, these would be second to none.

① Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the cover open.
② Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators inside flash 3 times quickly. When the LEDs start flashing fast, it confirms that the reset was successful and the earbuds have entered pairing mode.
      - Please try with another device (phone/tablet/etc.) and see if the issue is the same.

Soundcore has done an excellent job with the Liberty 3 Pros. They are very comfortable for extended sessions. I highly recommend you mix and match the ear tips and wings to get the best fit. The app has a fit test which verifies that you have a good seal which is critical for the best bass and ANC. The HearID feature is great and provides a customized EQ setting for your individual hearing and ear canals. You can tweak it further to get the sound that sounds best to you. The multipoint connection also works perfectly and makes it super convenient to switch between devices. Sound quality is very subjective, but I personally love the way these sound with plenty of punchy bass without being muddy or overpowering, clear mids and soaring highs. The ANC is also very good IMO especially after doing the HearID ANC test in a noisy environment. BT connection has been rock solid connected to my iPhone and Apple Watch. Battery life has also been excellent. Overall AWESOME earbuds that rival and in some areas surpass much more expensive options.

First off the presentation is absolutely top notch by Anker. Love how the box flips open to reveal the buds, tips and wings. Some of the higher end earbud makers don't give you this kind of experience, The app that lets you tweak your sound is awesome and is almost overwhelming in regards to amount of EQ and ANC settings that are available to you. Not to mention you can take a test that evaluates the frequencies you can hear and gives you a custom audio experience. For me that's where the positive experience ended. You can make the best sounding earbuds and have all the bells and whistles, but if you can't make them comfortable then why bother. I tried for several days going through all the wings and tips and I could not find a combination that made them comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. After about 2 hours my ears started hurting. Also the touch sensors on the buds were not all that responsive and I usually had to touch the button at least an extra time to make them respond. I really wish earbud makers would go back to physical buttons. These are fantastic sounding earbuds and give the Apples, Sony's, and Jabra's of the world a run for their money. They sound good, the ANC is solid, and the battery life is decent. It has multipoint BT which most high end makers should include nowadays. The case is well designed and charges wirelessly which is a plus. BUT, these are not comfortable for anyone who intends to wear these for long amounts of time. If Anker can redesign these to make them more comfortable for extended use then I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again.

    Best Buds Available

Let me start by saying that I am not a profession audiophile, however, I have owned and tested nearly every true wireless premium earbud over the last several years. This is by far the best overall pair of buds period. Now that does not mean they are perfect or are the best at every feature. Below I will break down my take on these great buds. PROS: Let me start with sound. Personally this is the most important feature. These buds absolutely blew me away with their sound. I do prefer bass heavy headphones and these far exceeded my expectation in this are. Now for those who do not share my preference there is great news. These can be customized (extremely easily) to suit your sound profile. Customization is insanely broad but also amazingly easy to do. The sound is clear, broad and simply fantastic. I have not heard any other buds even come close to the sound these put out. These buds have a ton of features from ANC to unique sound profiles determined by an easy sound test inside the app. They will pause when you remove one or both earbuds. You can use each earbud fully independently (meaning you can put one in your ear while you charge the other). Transparency mode. 3D sound. Multipoint pairing (pair with two devices to seamlessly switch between them). Now ANC is not quite as good as Sony but very close. Transparency mode is not as good as Apples but gets the job done. While they might not lead in every category here they are very nearly the equal to their MUCH more expensive competitors. Up to 8 hours battery life with a 15 min fast charge giving 3 hours of play time. The case is USB-C and Wireless charging and can charge the buds up to 3 times without needing to charge the case (that is up to 32 hours of use without any charging). CONS: I have two cons to talk about. First is a feature I have only found in Samsung buds. When you are paired to say your phone and jump on your computer and click connect the Samsung buds will automatically switch to the new device. This works for everything even my LG TV. On all other buds you have to manually disconnect from the device you are using OR force the buds into pairing mode. I don't know why nobody else puts this into their products but I have to give a huge shout out to Samsung as I find this to be a massive quality of life feature as I am always switching my buds to new devices. The other con is they don't have AptX or a low latency option. This is only going to affect serious gamers that need no latency while gaming. When used to watch streaming services there is no or extremely little lag in the sound so this is not a problem for watching YouTube, Netflix or any of the other streaming services. Bottom line: These are far less expensive than other premium brands yet they outperform the competition in nearly all categories and it is not even close in the sound department. These buds pack nearly every feature out there into an amazing product that is well below the cost of the competition.

    Case is the downfall

Great earbuds and very comfortable with lots of options for ear tips and ear wings. Battery life is decent and the noise canceling is also top notch. My problem was with the case. With the stock ear tips and ear wings, the earbuds fit in the case nicely, however if you change them (bigger in my case) then the door that slides closed hits the silicone and moves the earbuds in the case, resulting in them not charging. Also, even though there are magnets to align the earbuds onto the charging points, they are not strong enough to keep them in position if you slide the case in your pocket (now in a vertical orientation). This is very frustrating when you think they are charging then go to use them and they are dead. The ear measuring feature was nice and it will actually set the EQ to your ears! The case issue was too much for me with a set of earbuds at this price, so that is why I am returning mine. Too bad, since the sound quality was really good!

STOP LOOKING AT ANY OTHER EARBUD!!! These are the greatest audio headphone/earbud/headset.... anything that I have ever owned or heard. The noise cancelling is beyond top notch, the multiple ear pieces so you can get the perfect fit is essential. They are so comfortable and so crisp clear with deep bass. Then there is the Soundcore app to really fine tune them. They will be the BEST buds you've ever owned!
