Active noise cancelling and transparency mode make the hissing worse, but it is still there in normal mode. The active noise cancelling is weak, despite their claims of how advanced it is. The rated battery life of 10 hours is with noise cancelling and transparency mode off. Expect less than 5 hours of battery life at a normal listening volume for the gym with noise cancelling on. The fit is not the most comfortable for my ear shape, and the buds become loose while exercising. LDAC is useless on these earbuds because it makes the battery life even worse and causes sound dropouts. I will be exchanging these for a different brand this weekend.
