Posted .Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It's unusual for this product to be acting like this, and we'd love to get you what you need!
If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
- Try reducing the distance between your right earbud and your audio device, like having your audio device in your right pocket or right side. Your right Soundcore earbud is the master (main) earbud. It connects to your audio device and to the left earbud.
- Forget the pairing record on your device and reset the earbuds via the steps below:
Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged.
Press and hold the button on both earbuds for 8 seconds. The LED indicators will flash red 3 times and then turn white.
- Turn back on the Bluetooth on your device and find the Soundcore to pair them.

One of the greats from Anker.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am always looking for the latest and the greatest in bluetooth headpones. So when these came around from Anker, I knew I had to try them out. First off, I have nothing but love for Anker products as they are well built and don't cost a fortune like some other brands. Likes: Huge sound from small device Small carry case that can really fit in my pocket Case charges the buds quickly Case can be charged with any type c cord Case also charges quickly, so I can get on with my day/night Custom sounds profiles that stay with buds, even when not connected to app Can use both together, or either bud alone for music or calls. Easy to figure out touch controls with ability to change them around to my liking. Dislikes: Case is shaped like a bar of soap and is as slippery as one Kinda hard to replace the fins and bud sizes to get the best fit, but it is doable Touch controls are nice, but way too sensitive and will be triggered with a slight brush of hair, clothing, or whatever Battery life is average, but I still have other older sets that have longer life than these Case keeps them safe and secure, but take your time getting them out, as they are slightly too low to grip easily to take out Case does not charge as many times as my old buds, which I find surprising Was hoping they were more "in the ear" as it would be nice to have a smooth fit. They however, still stick out like all the other older ones making look weird while wearing them. So long story short, I do like them and plan to use them around office as they are great at ANC, but Anker has a little ways to go to measure up the big boys. But I have faith and am excited see what they come out with next.

To fix the issue, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:
1-Make sure the charging case has enough power.
2-Take the earbuds out of the case and see if a flashing white light comes on. If it doesn't, try manually pressing the button or touchpad of the earbuds to power them on.
3-Try to use a terry cloth/cotton swab with a bit of alcohol to clean the contact pins both in the charging case and on earbuds to ensure a better connection.
4-Try using another charging cable to power the charging case.

Sound quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This are some really good earbuds. The sound quality is amazing and they do a great job blocking out noises for that noise cancelling. I have been using them outdoors and they are just perfect. No issues or complaints, they do come in their own hard case for charging, super easy connecting them to bluetooth. They do come with accesories for different fitments and you can use the app to customize your sound experience.

Average ANC Wireless Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds from Anker are average in every way measurable. I use alot of earbuds so I have experience with high end to low end. Unpacking is very straightforward with your usual assortment of instructions and user guides, ear tips, ear wings, usb c to a charging cable, ear buds and charging case. Pairing is simple remove the adhesive covering the charge contacts, place in the case and the lights start flashing on the earbuds and you are ready to pair. You will want to download the soundcore mobile app on your chosen platform. From here you can begin customization consisting of touch controls, noise cancellation modes, eq settings etc. I found the fit of the earbuds ok some ear hooks would go along way for stability when running/walking with them on but the earguards they have are unique in that they prevent you for inserting the earbuds in too far into your ear canal. I don't think I would get these for intense workout earbuds I don't have confidence with them in while running. Sound wise I was not impressed by the sound drivers of these earbuds, I had to crank the volume on my iphone 12 pro max, to it's maximum setting to achieve what I consider an optimal sound level. There are many eq settings so props there for all the options available. Phone calls are clear and totally doable with 4 mics. With the app you can change what the touch controls do as far as play/pause, ANC profiles, track forward or reverse. I was very disappointed there is no way to change volume directly on the earbuds with or without the app. A positive is the earbuds I received were already up to date with the latest firmware. Speaking to the Noise Cancellation you have some options as far as what you want to try and block out whether it be transportation engine noise, voices or just general background noise. It does function but I did not get a sense of truly being able to focus on what was playing over what was going on around me. Like most other aspects of these earbuds is it functional yes...is it great...no. Battery life is solid 7 hours on a standard charge with over 30 hrs with recharges in the case. Case is wireless charging capable which is a big plus so battery life and case are solid all the way around, the only complaint I had is the way the earbuds go in the case for the contacts to meet seemed a little odd laying on their side very different from other brands. Overall opinion, they are average and at their price point they are what I would expect. You can do worse, you can do better but for the price point these are a good ANC selection.

Good Backup Set of Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 XR is a mouthfull and also a noise cancelling set of earbuds that come in a stylish form factor that will fit medium to large ears. These have active noise cancelling though they still rely on a good seal to your ear to block out noise. In somne ways, these are typical bluetooth airbuds. The big benefit is that you get a lot of control/customizability wih the app and can use the earbuds independently - you don't need to left for the right to function or vice versa. Opening things up, you get earbuds, the charging case (yes, it has its own battery, ear wings, ear tips, and usb-c charging cable). The earwings help hold it to your ear while the tips are the ones that go in your ear canal for a snug fit. I always struggle a bit with wireless earbuds as they are necessarily heavier than wired ones and getting a tough fit that results in good contact with my ears without too much discomfort is tough. The smallest ear wing and medium tip worked pretty well for me. I could go about 1.5 hours before starting to really feel it which is great because my normal workout is 1 hour. This claims 35 hours of playtime, but I'd take that with a grain of salt as I suspect it invovles fully charging the earbuds and case, then recharging from the case. One thing that's nice is charging from the case is relatively quick, so if the buds die during a workout, taking a short 5-10 minute break may likely be enough to complete the remaining time. If you're on a longer run, this may be tricky. These earbuds are sweat proof/water proof, though they did start to move a bit near the end of my workout. I think this could be mitigated with a bigger ear tip (I don't think a bigger ear wing would actually fit for me), but that would definitely lead to discomfort. Music quality is ok. Not enough to ditch my over the ear headset, but good enough that I'd be happy using this for a workout or run where my attention is divided among several things. The active noise cancelling works though its definitely not at the level you'd get with ear cups helping. It did reduce background noise a bit, but the background is still there, just shifted a bit (if that makes sense) so that it's not as loud and the "sound" changes a bit. The app is pretty cool and lets you configure a variety of modes and noise cancelling behaviors. Some modes however are effectively stereo only. When just using a single bud, they don't really take effect. Pairing was pretty simple and I didn't experience issues reconnecting to my phone. I liked these and think they'd make a good backup to keep in the glovebox should I be out and find my main headset.

Easy to use + good quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are pretty intuitive. The charging case works great and the sound quality is good. My only complaint is that while there is a command for “next song,” there is no way to go back.

Good headphones but beware online purchase.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No problem with the headphones for the price. Seem to have good sound and noise canceling works well for distant noise. Beware buying from Best Buy online, I received an open package like someone had looked inside the headphones box before shipping it. Everything was there and nothing inside seemed to be messed with so not a huge deal but still expected a box with un-tampered seals. They gave me offered to replace it if I would send it back and Customer service was good, just wanted to put out an FYI for the next guy.

Great headphones, but misbranded.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Headphones, love the noise canceling and feel in my ears, however, these are misbranded and overpriced. I was looking for a cover for the case and doscovered that these are actually the soundcore life A2, which are sold for about $60 on the souncore store. They even took pictures from the soundcore website. Very annoying, but I hope this helps others looking for a case or other accesories.

Touch controls are horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound and the fit are fine with me, but the new "touch controls" are horrible. You can't just double tap, you have to double tap at the correct pace to actually get them to work. I've had to sometimes tap about 10 times just the get the things to pause. It's ridiculous. Bring back the physical button, PLEASE!

Uncomfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is exclusively for the fit, not the sound because I didn't get that far. These were so bulky and extremely uncomfortable, even with the smallest silicone tips, that I must return them.
