These do not work with Samsung S7+ tablets

It has you select the model of you're device in the app, then asks you to go to the bluetooth settings and select the device. When you select the device it says, "an app is needed for this device" when im in the app already....funny thing is the headphones connected immediately to my phone with no software needed. But yeah software bug that prevents it from working on the S7+ tablet.

Defective unit- Refund problem

I returned the item, but after 2 weeks still did not get a credit back to my card. I believe a credit will arrive sooner or later, but this headache nobody wants to have, especially , if you on limited budget.

LOVE my Soundcore Tune XR.

I'm VERY impressed with the comfort, sound, noise cancellation, and LOVE the NFC linking to my phone. For the price, these are a NO brainer, for quality bluetooth audio that lasts for days! SOUND: Very strong acoustics with plenty of customization. APP: Clean mobile app to adjust sound levels to your liking. BATTERY: The battery on these puppies DESTROYS my apple airpods all day. Battery lasts for days compared to my air pods that last like..3-4 hours. CHARGING: I love the ease of the USB-C charging as this is more inline with most other devices/charges in the house. NOISE CANCELLATION: Excellent! Several options at the click of the button as well. Active, passive, or 'off' for a temp conversation. MIC: It has several different mic's to pick your voice up well. Everyone says I'm crystal clear. BLUETOOTH RANGE: Excellent range thus far. Longer then any of my other bluetooth devices. (Likely due to using the latest in BT tech) All in all, I'm a huge fan and can wear these a LONG time. Once in awhile when the house is loud...I wear these just for the noise cancellation they give with no audio at all, they are that good!

- Try a different wall charger and cable to charge the headphones for at least 24 hours no matter if the indicator is on or off (it's best to use a 5V charger).

2. Make sure that the volume is turned up on both the headphone and the device
3. Try these headphones on another Bluetooth device to see if the problem persists.
4. "Forget" the headphones in your device's Bluetooth history and reset the earbuds by holding down the Power button and V+ 5 seconds, and then pair them again to test.

Awesome noise canceling and bass
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Anker Soundcore Life Tune XR headphones were a big surprise for me. I have been a fan of Anker's power products for a long time, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect as far as sound quality on the XRs - but I was definitely impressed at how thoughtful the design was. Out of the box, the Tune XRs come in a nice nylon case that doesn't add a ton of bulk to them, so you can still comfortably slip it in your carry on bag. Pairing was super simple - power them on, then tap your phone to the side of the headphones (if your phone has NFC enabled). The most painless pairing experience I've had in awhile. Looks wise, I think these have a pretty understated but not exactly "classic" look. They are a pretty good step up looks wise from a lot of the headphones you'll find at the sub $100 pricepoint, but they are still mostly flat black plastic. Otherwise, they feel reasonably high quality and there are no flimsy bits that I'd be worried about just tossing these in my bag even with out the included case. I noticed right away that the noise canceling is top notch. The Soundcore headphones have a unique angled design to the headband and earcups, and I found that they do a great job of sealing around my ears. Even without the active noise canceling enabled, they tone down a lot of background noise. I won't have a chance to try them on a flight until later this month, but sitting in a room next to some loud servers in a rack, these completely eliminated any fan noise. Sound wise - HUGE BASS. Wow. Way more than I expected or typically prefer, but not displeasing either. Sound quality was the same wired to my computer or using bluetooth to my galaxy note 20, so I'm guessing even when wired and with noise canceling off they are using power to get that extra low end kick. The rest of the sound stage is very good, a little distortion in the upper midrange but not anything you wouldn't expect at a price as good as you get for the rest of the package here. Another feature I really liked is how easy it was to put them in "transparency" mode - just touch the right shell for 1 second to turn that on or off when you're in bluetooth mode. No quickly seeking the right button or pulling it off your ear, just lightly hold the right ear cup and it lets you hear outside. Unfortunately when wired you have to cycle through Normal, Transparency, and NC mode using the NC button, for some reason the touch sensor on the right side doesn't work when wired. Only other downside is they only work as headphones when wired - the cable doesn't have the 3rd ring for the mic. So for gaming on the road you'll still need an extra mic if you want to run them as headphones. Can't wait to try these out on my flight next week - I have a feeling they will be a permanent addition to my carry on.

For the price, these are nice

But it's not just the audio quality and build of these headphones that pleases, but also the nice and tight integration with the 'Soundcore' app. And, with more and more headphones going the 'touch' route for changing modes, play/pause, etc. I appreciate the physical buttons on these headphones. For the amount you're paying, I find these not just more than sufficient, but actually possibly under-priced. The noise canceling works very well and the app offers several different modes of ANC for your specific situation. Build quality, fit and finish are all up to Anker's high standards. You can't go wrong with these in this crowded space.

Quality and accessible Noise canceling: a deal

In the past, each time that you read “noise canceling” in over-the-ear pair of headphones, the price started already in a couple of hundreds. From the box, the first impression is quite positive: .- An included strong case for transporting them. .- Big and very comfortable ear cups with a stilist faux leather. .- USB-C cable and sound cable with a 3.5 jack for your wired connection. The first step, connecting the headphones with your device. I followed the guide recommendations by downloading the soundcore app. The app recognized quick the device and the pairing with my phone was done. I haven’t linked with the table to do some wired tests. Sounds is delivered with great stereo quality. I’ve been testing different tones and bass trying with all available options from my playlist. Just delivering rich and vibrant mixes. A great delivery. The headphones controls are just easily accessible and very reactive. I love the easy touch option over your right cup to switch from noise canceling into transparency. This functionality was until now only available in the high end headphones and I love it. You could be in the music and just by de-activating the noise canceling you can interact with your ambiance without taking your headphones out. Because of all that, I found that the app is not adding at lot, it's just ok. The app it’s great to regulate the ambiance sound with three preset values: noise cancel, transparency, and normal. You have also three modes that adapt the sound to the environment: transport, interior, and exterior. In the app, you could personalize the equalizer. The final outcome has average results and I am not sure that the impact is significant but if you do, you can also consider including the app as a widger to have quick access from your phone screen. After all of that, however, I still recommend downloading the app, I found a couple of nice additions like the sleeping sounds that allow you to combine eleven predefined ambiance sounds to help your sleeping. Battery life is simply awesome with a promise and delivery of 60 hours. Or 40 hours when noise canceling is probably the longest performance in this mode. The only single but to report is the mic. During my phone calls, and while the sound is transmitted with quality and clarity, the interlocutor reports that sound looks done with a hands-free/speaker mode with some echo. Other than that this is a great deal and strongly recommended.

The noise cancelling seemed to work very well - allowed the music to come through - even at low volumes - while eliminating surrounding noise. You can download the Soundcore app - which worked well - and had the ability to access numerous settings for the headphones - including built in EQ presets, and even custom EQ settings. Ear cups fit over ears well, are extremely "cushy" and are very comfortable. Padded headband also cushioned well. Overall, these will be comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. As to the sound quality of these headphones, they have a "v" shaped response. Using EQ will improve response greatly. I auditioned these with assorted genres - classical, jazz, fusion, rock, and utilized some different EQ settings during these tests. When testing wired, I did compare these with another set of wired headphones. Here are the overall impressions of sound spectrum.... First, using wireless, the bass was strong, and boomy - but actually didn't reach the lowest octave with authority. Mids and highs were slightly harsh, with upper highs fading slightly. Then I tested with wired connection. The overall sound quality was similar, but had some reduction in the "boomyness" of the bass. While utilizing the different EQ settings (both Soundcore, and the player app) I was able tailor the sound, and could achieve a much better balance between lows, mids, and highs. This achieved a more accurate sound reproduction. So with using an EQ to smooth sound curve, I think these would be a good choice for many users - for gaming, streaming movies, youtube etc.

Worst Audio/Mic for 100$. Looks ok though I guess

If there was noise to cancel? Cons: - Awful audio - Audio skips and cuts out a LOT - Even worse microphone audio - Microphone doesn't work longer than a couple minutes - Had 5$ gas station earbuds that work better than this Unsure if I got a bad batch, but the headphone is just entirely unusable. Audio sounds like a tin can, my microphone sounds worse according to my friends... if I can get it work longer than two seconds. I think the problem may just be that I'm trying to use a headset intended for phones/tablets with my desktop, my fault there. I bought this thinking I'd be getting a gaming headset so I'll take the fall for that one. That being said, as someone who spends a good deal of time plugged in to his computer, I wouldn't even gift this to someone who just wants a good headset for their phone. I've bought 20-40$ headsets from target that work so much better with so much less hassle. Tl;dr - If you're buying a gaming headset, just buy a gaming headset. If you're buying a headset for listening to music, you're better off with the 20$ skullcandies.

Can't game and voice chat at the same time!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im sad to say i was very disappointed with this product. dont get me wrong, individually, the sound quality is great, the mic is great, but this headphones bandwidth is so low that you cant use both at the same time... which is a deal breaker for me. Im a gamer, and i use Discord a lot. entering discord (or any voice chat app) switches the headset to voice only and music/game noises cannot be heard. of course you can always bring music into Discord with RythmBot, but you wont hear anything outside of the app. There IS a setting on PC to change the default channel so that you CAN hear both, but the sound quality goes down dramatically. The same goes for phone use too. i tried to circumvent this problem by using the double-pairing function and connected to my phone for Discord and my PC for a game; no dice. Lastly, i tried in vain to open up iTunes and make a call from my phone. It looks like you still gotta break the bank if you want a decent mic+headset experience, which is sad considering there ARE other $100 headsets out there that do it but also dont have as high sound quality as these. Long story short, dont get these if you game and also use voice chat.
