A lot of features in a affordable package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds have really impressed me. For the price point, Anker really gives you a lot. First of which is Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). It isn't very well advertised for these, but they have it. It might not be the world best noise cancelling, but it's going to still let you tune out most of the outside world and let you focus on your music. But of course, if you do want to listen to the outside world, they also have the option for pass-though. Another nice feature is the Anker app, which gives you total control over the equalizer, including a handful of presets. But if that isn't good enough for you, you can go for the personalized sound, which actually puts you through a hearing test, and you adjust the volume of various frequencies until you can hear them. And then you go through a few steps of listening to an audio sample and choosing if you like version A or version B better, where the app tests your preferences in what frequencies you prefer to have emphasized. It only take a couple of minutes to go through, and I was generally happy with the results, though I felt the first time the bass was a little too strong, so I went through it again, and chose the audio samples that weren't as heavy on the bass. As far as audio quality, these aren't going to be the most rich or accurate sound, but they do give a very enjoyable listening experience. The stems of the earbuds do have touch controls that you can customize in the app. The touch is very sensitive, so I found myself triggering the touch every time I adjusted the earbuds in my ear. But, you can disable the touch controls altogether, or disable any actions on single touch. (you can set actions for single, double, and long touch for each earbud). So, it ends up being a mostly nonissue. The battery bank feature is really neat, but has limitations. You charge the battery bank via a USB-C port in the back (allegedly you can charge via the attached cable, but most of the time the battery bank tried charging the device when I did that, instead of accepting a charge). It charges slowly, so 0-100 can take a couple hours at least. And same when using it to charge a device. It can only charge at 10w max, which is fairly slow. Most phone chargers will be about 30w to allow for fast charging. So, that's probably the biggest drawback of this, is it's slow charging. So, it's not good for an emergency top off, but if you know you'll be away from a charger for awhile, it's still very useful. Of course, they also include a little popup lip on the charger/case, so you can prop up your phone (horizontally only, if you try vertical it will tip backwards) while it is charging (and of course, listen to music). So, I see this being very useful when travelling, such as at an airport.

Soundcore by Anker P41i
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I just received my Soundcore by Anker P41i earbuds a few days ago and have been putting them through the paces. Soundcore by Anker as well as the regular Anker brand has become brands that consumers like me have come to love from earbuds to charging cables to charging stations, they have shown they understand and know what tech users need and love. Unboxing Includes: * Soundcore P41i * Charging Case with Built-in USB-C Cable * XS/S/M/L/XL EarTips (mediums are preinstalled) * User Manual Looking over the case, you will notice on the left side of the case is a built-in USB-C charging cable. This comes in handy when you don’t have a charging cable or charging block handy. At the back of the case is a USB-C charging port for those that have their own USB-C charging cable. On the front of the charging case is my favorite feature of these earbuds and that’s the display. The display is just the right size and the to display the charging status of both the left and right earbuds as well as the case. These earbuds are rated for 12-hour playtime, however, I’ve not had any issues with running out of battery power since I typically When opening you will see a little tab that when lifted up it turns the front of the case into a phone stand. How thoughtful was that for soundcore/Anker to add that to the case? Now as far as sound, these earbuds so far have been crystal clear. You can also download the Soundcore by Anker app from the App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store to tweak the settings to the earbuds to your liking (noise cancellation, transparency mode, wind noise reduction, as well as other sound effects). Overall I absolutely love these earbuds and recommend them to anyone looking for a nice pair of earbuds.

A solid combination of two functions
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've enjoyed using Anker's "Soundcore" lineup of bluetooth headsets for sometime - the combination of a quality, innovative product at a solid value is good to pass up. But when I saw this product, I was a bit skeptical. After all, the combination of a phone charger and a set of bluetooth earbuds seems a bit odd, particularly when it basically looks like someone supersized the case for the earbuds. My initial thought was that I wouldn't be a fan since it was a bulkier thing to carry around. And it wouldn't even fill up my phone all the way! But after trying the P41i out, I must say I'm a convert. The best piece of technology, after all, is the one that you actually use and take with you and this set has found its way quickly into my every day carry. The headset is a quality one, with good sound for both consuming content and taking calls / meetings. The fit is good and you get multiple tips in various sizes so you should be able to find something that's comfortable for you. The microphones pick up clearly and cancel noise well also (both for you and for those you're talking to). On the battery side, sure it won't fully charge my phone (100% charge on the battery took my iPhone 15 Pro from 18% to about 80% via the included / attached cable), BUT that 60% is many hours worth of phone use when I normally wouldn't even carry an external battery / would be out of luck. And that's the thing that makes this a winning product. Is it's a great battery? No - its specs and capacity pale next to some others. And it's a chunky headset case (carrying a great headset, to be fair), it's about 50% larger than a competiting Anker headset of similar quality. But when you consider it's a headset AND a battery and you can carry them together in one device that is still reasonably compact, it makes a lot more sense. And because you WILL be carrying it to have the headset, and it has a built-in USB-C cable, you'll be able to use it. Which is more than you can say for the larger, higher end battery that never leaves your desk because you won't carry it around. Beyond that, I do like the feature set here. You can use the built-in cable for charging or output, or there's another input port on the bottom and the display is useful and clear without unncessecary extra information. And the whole thing just works. So if having a headset and battery together sounds like a good idea to you, give it a try today!

Looks great - sounds cheap.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The idea is amazing - visual charge indicators, doubles as emergency phone charger….but the sound quality is subpar. All calls complained of wind noise whether noise cancellation was on or off, even when simply sitting on the couch at home.

Great Wireless Ear Buds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bee impressed with these ear buds from Anker. Then again I have had nothing but great experiences from ay Aker products over the years. Everything from headphones to Bluetooth speakers to power cords and may more. They make a quality product lie at an affordable price point ad I love the obvious quality they put ito the design and construction of their devices. And these wireless ear buds have the same attention to quality. Pairing to my phone was dead simple and the better than average connection range a connectivity. Battery life is well above average for ear buds in this price range ad along with the battery the charging case I was able to get through a cross country flight with batter life to spare. Sound quality is a bit above average i my opinion. the only thing that I would really change is to add active noise cancellation but at this price point it's unrealistic to expect that. Overall I'd have to say these are outstanding wireless ear buds at this price point ad you really can't go wrong with an Aker product.

Great Ear Bud Sound at a Great Price Point
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Soundcore P41i I have other Soundcore products, and have found them to be very good. This set of ear buds does not disappoint! First off, when you open the box, you will see that the case is very different from other Ear buds. It’s not only larger, it has a “lanyard” for carrying which actually is the charging cable built in. This is a USB-c cable that can also be used for charging other devices as your phone because of the built in 3000mAh battery built into the case. As for using them, you won’t be disappointed. They pair quickly and easily not only during the initial setup, but also each time you remove them from the case. The case even has a unique feature. There is a pop-up tab inside near the front that can be raised to support your phone in the landscape orientation. Very handy to watch videos, or use while you are charging the phone. I’m using it now as I write this review while my phone is charging and doing an automatic slide show while I compose on my laptop. The Sound is very good. I have a pair of Soundcore Liberty 4’s that I have been using for over 3 years and they are one of my favorites for excellent sound with great solid bass. They also cost much more than these new P41i’s which sound almost as good. I think the high end is as good or better then the Liberty’s and the base is just slightly less. Overall. I rate the P41i’s as excellent! And when you use the Soundcore app, you have incredible control over the sound and can make it what you want. There is a plethora of settings for equalization curves built into the app, as well as making your own. There is even a “hearing test” function to adjust the frequencies based on your results of actually testing your hearing at various frequencies. It’s all built into the App along with many other features like setting your preference for the buttons on each ear bud and what you would like the left ear bud buttons to do along with other functions for the right ear bud. During my first day of use, I was accidentally skipping forward on my music tracks because I was hitting the small buttons on the ear buds as I adjusted them in my ear. Problem solved by being more careful and also adjusting the “skip forward” function to 3 presses rather than one. A handy feature! CONCLUSION: I really like these ear buds not only for great sound, but for so many other customizable features on the app. Not to mention the ability to power the ear buds for an inordinate number of hours with the built in case charger, and the ability to charge my phone too! All this for a price that is really amazing! Last I looked they were available in white or black and on sale! So, get out there and purchase a set of these!

2in1 - sound and power
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well lets start with what I like about these - well I just love the little display on the front. It takes SOOO much guess work out of your earbud experience. How much is my case charged, am I in Bluetooth pairing mode, is it charging, how much are my earbuds charged (individually!!!). It shows you EVERYTHING. I don't have to guess what high charge or low charge means when I put my earbuds are in. Or based on some magic morse code of blinking lights. The fit and feel is good (nothing great), they do feel a bit too big for me (their stem seems to stick out). There are plenty of earbud sizes that can be swapped out for your best fit. The sound out of box was just fine for me, and ofcourse there is an app to tune it to your liking. Honestly I can't really say this is amazing, but it is absolutely acceptable and honestly I like the other features so much that this is not what I hinge my decision on. And ofcourse like any other wireless earbud in this day , it has touch controls (that can be modified in the app), and something extra - active noise cancellation. Its really good, in a crowded train, I can still hear the rumble of the tracks but the media I am listening to almost always tunes it out, and I can focus on the speech or music. Now lets talk about the other "feature", the fact that this is in fact also a power bank. I don't know how I feel about that. On one hand its definitely handy, if I need that extra little bit (and I mean bit - it doesn't charge my phone fully). But then that means that my earbuds can no longer charge up if the case is completely drained out. There is a built in USB C cable (that I also use as a handle, I hope that's safe, cause that is just how it sticks out) that can be used for charging the other device. And there is a USB C port to charge the case itself. The base/bottom of the case looks as if it can be wirelessly charged, but it can't ( I really wish that was a feature though).

Almost perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’d have given this product 5 stars if I didn’t run into issues where the earbuds randomly need to be reseated in the case in order to be acknowledged to be there and start charging. Otherwise, these earbuds have very good sound quality, excellent battery life, a standout case that could also charge your phone if needed, and a quality app to customize the experience.
