Great idea, Great software, Horrible battery
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Bose Sleepbud II model for the past 3 years. My Sleepbuds finally gave out and I needed to find a replacement since Bose no longer makes the Sleepbuds. Based on reviews, I gave these Soundcore A10's a try. They are built well and have a very nic charging case. The software used with them is nice, if a bit confusing at first. Choice of masking sounds is very large. The biggest software issue was you have to reset your alarm for the bud daily. Stupid, but not the end of the world. The buds fit nicely and have a ton of different size options for the wings and ear plugs. Overall a nice product EXCEPT for the battery life. In the 3 years I had the Bose product, the alarm on the sleepbuds never failed to go off. With these, I was late for work twice in one week because the alarm failed to go off. It wasn't that I failed to set it, it was that the batteries on the buds died during the night. I stopped using the alarm with them. I tried all sorts of methods to extend the batteries, without luck. The right bud had a battery that would last about 6-7 hours at best. Most nights it was less. I never got more than 3 hours out of the left bud. I use the noise masking function and after 3 hours would only get it out of one bud. When I checked the app, it showed the battery level was zero on the left bud. I had high hopes for these, but they are being returned. If they can't get through the night, they are no use to me. One bud couldn't get through half a night. Soundcore has a Kicksarter active for the next generation of these. I hope they address the battery issues or those will be just as disappointing.

Initially pleased but soon disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initial impressions were very positive; comfortable even when side sleeping, good sound quality and noise isolation and adequate battery life for its specific purpose. But after only about 2 months of use, there are regular issues with volume asymmetries not related to earbud battery charge or device audio settings. I’ve tried all the usual fixes for potential connectivity issues but without resolution. So now I only get adequate volume from one earbud which is quite disappointing. Can’t recommend these given this performance, especially given the premium price.

I noticed you have done some troubleshooting, it would be greatly appreciated if you could help us confirm what you have tried was this:
- Use a Q-tip with a bit of rubbing alcohol to gently clean the metal mesh filter under the rubber ear tips. This is best done when sound is playing through your earbuds at max volume.
- Reset the earbuds: Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators inside the case flash white 3 times and then flash in sequence. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.

Love these
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super comfortable when I sleep. I've had these now for a little over a month. As a side sleeper, these have been a lifesaver. They stay in pretty well. And I hardly noticed they're there. As a matter of fact, just this morning I got up and didn't realize they were still in my ears. Lol. They're super comfortable and super effective. And the sound is really nice too

Def worth the price
|Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] Takes it a bit to get used to sleeping with these in, but once you get used to it they’re incredibly comfortable. The best part about these is that you can actually listen to your own music! The audio quality is great for this price point, especially with how well the bass is tuned. Even with the bassup enabled it doesn’t overpower the highs and mids. The app is super easy to navigate as well. Reccomend 100%

OMG! So much better than those SleepBuds 2
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, been looking at these for a long time but did not buy because already had the other very pricey sleepbuds 2. I was looking for sleepbuds that could also stream my music for sleep These were on sale so got them and I LOVE them. After I fully charged case, a new firmware update installed that fixed all the issues mentioned in reviews that kept me from buying... Volume is great, bluetooth distance is phenomenal and i can stream my music You DO NOT have to be connected to your phone/tablet to use the souncore sounds (theres's many to choose from) for sleep. You can connect to phone to use for your own music books podcasts sound You can easily switch from streaming to the sleep music/noise you have loaded on the earbuds from the app by double tapping bud you can change settings for double tap on each earbud --change tracks, pause etc, switch back and forth between your bluetooth or the sleepbuds fit is super comfortable even for side sleep Voume after the automatic firmware update is now louder than my samsung pro and plus and live earbuds Comes with many varied tips to get a great sound blocking fit. WATCH the video on soundcore website it is worth watching to achieve the best sound blocking to get your best sleep EVER

Making sleeping with a snoring partner better
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these becuase I was having trouble sleeping next to my partner who snores. Since I got these I dont wake up to my ears being assaulted by his monstrous snoring anymore and we both get to sleep through the night in peace. My only complaint is I wish the battery lasted longer as they will die sooner than I plan to wake up.

Soundcore Sleep A10 vs. Bose Sleepbud II
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the Bose Sleepbuds II for a couple of years and LOVED them, but the battery will no longer last through the night, which is frustrating. (and they are no longer available to buy). So I finally decided to give these Soundcore's a try, and am pleasantly surprised. I could not find a review that gave me a good comparison, so figured I would provide one for those of you that may be interested. Earbud Fit/Comfort: They are a little smaller than that Bose. I was somewhat concerned about the little wings and fit, but they stay in all night, and are equally comfortable. (maybe even a bit lighter and more comfortable) Case: The case is pretty light, and feels a little cheap compared to the Bose. (and is a bit smaller). But it works just fine, so no functional issues. And it being smaller and lighter is nice for travel. App: Some reviews on the app are not great. It is generally fine once you figure it out. Adjusting the Alarm is not intuitive, but everything else is ok. Not significantly better or worse from Bose. Sounds: This is my biggest compliant. I liked the "tranquilities" which are the synth sounds which Bose had a number of them to select from. All the Soundcore ones are way to "busy" or active for sleeping. There is really no good option that is just a low and slow sound pattern. They do have a lot of other options with waves, wind, birds, white noise, etc. Other than that, the quality of the sounds is good. Like the Bose, you load the sound onto the buds from the app, but you can only load 1 at a time. (takes about a min to load the sound). Music: Yep, you can listen to music, podcast, etc which is pretty nice. It does drain the battery more quickly, so you cant really listen to music all night. (unless you only sleep 4 hours) Controls: You can double tap the buds to start and stop the music or sound, and you can do the same to stop the alarm which is really nice. (Bose does not offer that). And you can also switch between music or sleep mode with a double tap as well. (more on that next) Music / Sleep Mode: there are 2 modes, music and sleep. Sleep mode will last you a solid 8 hours, Music is much shorter. There is also a mode that starts with music then flips to the sleep mode when it senses your asleep. I was skeptical, but this is actually pretty nice. I can put on some light spa type music, fall asleep, then when I wake up, it is on white noise. Alarm: Alarm works...well like an alarm. You only get one sound option, unlike the Bose. Setting the alarm is simple, but adjusting a time is strange. I just remove it and set a new one if I need to change the alarm time. Like I mentioned previously, you can turn off the alarm by double tapping one earbud, which is very nice. (dont get that with Bose) All in all, this is a great product. We will see how long the batteries last, but I have high hopes. If you are a former Bose user, you will be good with these. If they could upgrade some of the sound options, that would make it a slam dunk.

Perfect to drown out the noise
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for a trip where I had to share a room with someone who snores. These worked great at drowning out the noise. Be aware the battery doesnt last all night but that’s to be expected since these are so small. I’m a side sleeper and these were not at all too difficult to sleep with.

Great sleep buds period
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice sleep buds, once you find the right ear tip/wing combo, it stays in ears throughout most nights, noise isolation is decent, based on the type of music I chose, I can dampen out the outside sounds, the battery usually lass about 6 hours. This is definitely the most ideal sleep bud implementation over all period. Other manufacturers should take notes from Anker on this one. Overall satisfied with the product

Better than Bose Sleepbuds, but...
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Soundcore Sleep A10 Earbuds are more comfortable, and the app is better than the Bose Sleepbuds II and the Ozlo Sleepbuds. I prefer to use these nightly. HOWEVER, the battery does not last an entire night, which wakes me up, defeating the purpose.

Battery does NOT last for 8hrs
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sorta do the job...primarily used for sleeping. Sound great and the buds do a good job from keeping outside noise while wearing them (Not noise cancelling at all). The problem is that even with a full charge, they only last 6-7 hours max. This disrupts my sleep.

Comfortable just not great battery
|Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] They are comfortable and fit well. Only thing i didnt like was that the battery runs out before i wake up. My wife always wakes up before me and i like to sleep in so didnt work for me. Ended up buying Bose Sleepbuds instead although these were a little more confortable.

Okay, but need improvements
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to replace my Bose Sleep. Unfortunately, Bose discontinued the product. Bought the Soundcore. They are okay. The battery life does not make it longer than 6-7 hours. They do fall out of the ears. Buds are comfortable.

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To many issues to list with this product, I wish I could return these. Connectivity issues daily. Everytime I go to use them. They will not work the way the instructions say. Volume is way way to low and you can not increase it at all. Battery life is so bad it will not make it through a nights sleep. The sounds in the app are stupid. Who wants to listen to people eating chips or doing dishes? Worst product I’ve ever bought There is no tech support it’s only a computer talking back to you. Please save your money and do not purchase these. They loose connection all night in and out constantly

Volume adjustment is different in the two modes:
1. When using them in sleep mode, the volume of the white noise just can be adjusted via the soundcore app.
2. When using them in music mode, you need to turn on volume synchronization via the settings on your mobile phone.
About the battery life, here are the tips for you:
- Playtime in music mode is up to 6 hours at 50% volume.
- Playtime in sleep mode is up to 10 hours at 50% volume.
We also recommend you try the following tips:
- Fully charge your earbuds.
- Turn on the smart switch, and the earbuds will enter sleep mode after detecting the user has fallen asleep, which can prolong battery life.
Note:
1. Battery playtime in Music and Sleep mode is obtained from testing in the Anker laboratory using the earbuds' default settings; no smart volume control (sleep mode only), and 50% volume.
The actual playtime may vary by volume, audio source, environmental interference, usage, etc.
2. Setting an alarm will take up 20% more battery so the playtime will be reduced to 80% of the
original.
About the white noise sources, be assured that your suggestion will be collected and valued and we always make efforts to develop future products.
For the disconnecting issue, here are the tips:
Please note that this doesn't necessarily mean there is an issue with the earbuds, so check your
connected devices and surroundings. Bluetooth signals may be influenced by obstructions, such as walls, pillars, home appliances, Wi-Fi, and more. To ensure a stable connection for these earbuds, we recommend avoiding such obstructions and use in an indoor environment
To fix this issue, try the following:
1. Fully charge and reset your earbuds as stated below and repair them.
Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the button on the
charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on the case flash white 3 times and then flash in sequence. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.
2. Make sure you're wearing the earbuds correctly.
3. Try another set of ear tips and ear wings in a different size.
Please note that if the earphones are too deep in your ears, it may affect the Bluetooth signal. Try
larger sizes to reduce the in-ear depth of the earbuds, which may improve the connection stability.
4. Check the earbuds by listening to a downloaded song/video if you're using them in music mode.
5. Check the earbuds with another Bluetooth device in a different environment to see if there's a difference.

Finally, a real solution to sleeping with earbuds.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For years, I’ve slept with earbuds from lots of companies. None were perfect, and would either fall out or hurt over time lying on my side. When Bose came out with sleep buds, I got excited, until I saw that they don’t play regular music or podcasts- just sleep noise. How lame is that? They mustn’t have done much research on people’s sleep listening habits before releasing them. These, on the other hand, play anything, and when you fall asleep, switch to sleep music. It works very well so far. As far as fit- they haven’t fallen out nor have they hurt at all. Also, the sound is definitely good for what the product is designed for- don’t expect a picture perfect audiophile listening experience, but it’s definitely good enough for sleep.

THEY SUCK!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely horrible, constantly cuts out, especially when laying down, if you adjust in your it switches to sleep mode, shuts off, or unpairs with device. They're not loud enough and they get good contact so they don't always get fully charged, and if you carry them they lose contact even essier. I'll be returning them.

Honestly a life changer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid sleepbuds that manage to drown out wife's wildebeest level of snoring. In music mode the battery lasts about 6-7 hours and in sleep mode they last even longer. There's no active noise canceling, rather, they seal into your ear to simply block out noise. In music mode you can play whatever but in sleep mode you'll download a preset selection of noises to play. I tend to sleep on my side so although they're fairly comfortable, you can still notice them since they sit so tight in your ear. They also do occasionally fall out mid sleep, though maybe thats just me. Overall a really solid set of buds that has helped my sleep life tremendously. Anyone with a snoring spouse can understand how frustrating it is to get zero sleep because your partner sounds like an active airstrip and won't budge or wake from their coma.

They are very nice
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these. they are super comfy in the ear and Im a side sleeper and cant feel them against the pillow. they block a lot of noise like earplugs. i lkke it cause i usually fall asleep to videos on my phone and this way they wont disturb my partner. i havent had any problem with battery, i have it set to play my media, switch to sleep sounds when it senses im asleep, and then stop after 2 hours. i was excited for the alarm feature but i feel it needs to he a bit louder, granted I am a heavy sleeper, there has been one time where it actually woke me up, so ive been sticking to them mostly on the weekends when i dont need to be up too early

Zzzzzzzzzzzz...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are for sleeping ... nothing else ... and I LOVE them! At first I was a bit confused about how to use them to fall asleep with my favorite sleep music from a playlist I have on my phone. Figured it out and wouldn't try to sleep without these! The earbuds are flat, making them MUCH more comfortable for sleeping than regular earbuds, which really aren't designed for sleeping. There is a wide selection of sleep sounds and music in the app, including a couple specifically to block someone snoring that work very well. Another wonderful feature is that an alarm set in the app will only be heard through the earbuds. (The sleep data conflicts with the data I collect with my hybrid watch, however.) Sleep is wonderful!

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bt is very weak.
