Better than Bose Sleepbuds, but...

The Soundcore Sleep A10 Earbuds are more comfortable, and the app is better than the Bose Sleepbuds II and the Ozlo Sleepbuds. I prefer to use these nightly. HOWEVER, the battery does not last an entire night, which wakes me up, defeating the purpose.

They sorta do the job...primarily used for sleeping. Sound great and the buds do a good job from keeping outside noise while wearing them (Not noise cancelling at all). The problem is that even with a full charge, they only last 6-7 hours max. This disrupts my sleep.

I bought these for a trip where I had to share a room with someone who snores. These worked great at drowning out the noise. Be aware the battery doesnt last all night but that’s to be expected since these are so small. I’m a side sleeper and these were not at all too difficult to sleep with.

I've had two pair. Both pairs have suffered the same failure; the right earbud loses 95% of its volume and i have not found any way to regain function. Sound is decent (for sleep), battery life is satisfactory, no connectivity issues, and they are very comfortable to sleep with, and i am a side sleeper.

Needed to replace my Bose Sleep. Unfortunately, Bose discontinued the product. Bought the Soundcore. They are okay. The battery life does not make it longer than 6-7 hours. They do fall out of the ears. Buds are comfortable.

They are comfortable and fit well. Only thing i didnt like was that the battery runs out before i wake up. My wife always wakes up before me and i like to sleep in so didnt work for me. Ended up buying Bose Sleepbuds instead although these were a little more confortable.

The good: comfortable enough to sleep with, and the sound quality is pretty good. The not-so-good: the Bluetooth connection is pretty weak and the battery life is about 20% too short. Overall, I am pleased with the buds.

I am very disappointed in this purchase. They don’t do the things they’re supposed to do. Within one or two minutes of putting them in at least one of them stops making sounds and the other one cuts out constantly. In addition, I constantly disconnect from the Bluetooth on my phone. And they both also turn off during the night and tapping them to get them to turn on Doesn’t work. I actually have to take them out and put them back on the charger close the charger, then open the charger and put them back in to get them to reconnect. The alarm doesn’t work most of the time either I’ve been using these every day since mid November 2022, but they are really a big disappointment. I do like the feature that they go out of music mode on their own when you fall asleep and go into sleep mode, but if it wasn’t for that, I would have immediately return them. I have done all the troubleshooting included and the materials in the box as well as online, and nothing helps. They’re always , turning off I almost never get sound from both of them at the same time.

Absolutely horrible, constantly cuts out, especially when laying down, if you adjust in your it switches to sleep mode, shuts off, or unpairs with device. They're not loud enough and they get good contact so they don't always get fully charged, and if you carry them they lose contact even essier. I'll be returning them.

To many issues to list with this product, I wish I could return these. Connectivity issues daily. Everytime I go to use them. They will not work the way the instructions say. Volume is way way to low and you can not increase it at all. Battery life is so bad it will not make it through a nights sleep. The sounds in the app are stupid. Who wants to listen to people eating chips or doing dishes? Worst product I’ve ever bought There is no tech support it’s only a computer talking back to you. Please save your money and do not purchase these. They loose connection all night in and out constantly

Volume adjustment is different in the two modes: 1. When using them in sleep mode, the volume of the white noise just can be adjusted via the soundcore app. 2. When using them in music mode, you need to turn on volume synchronization via the settings on your mobile phone.
About the battery life, here are the tips for you: - Playtime in music mode is up to 6 hours at 50% volume. - Playtime in sleep mode is up to 10 hours at 50% volume. We also recommend you try the following tips: - Fully charge your earbuds. - Turn on the smart switch, and the earbuds will enter sleep mode after detecting the user has fallen asleep, which can prolong battery life. Note: 1. Battery playtime in Music and Sleep mode is obtained from testing in the Anker laboratory using the earbuds' default settings; no smart volume control (sleep mode only), and 50% volume. The actual playtime may vary by volume, audio source, environmental interference, usage, etc. 2. Setting an alarm will take up 20% more battery so the playtime will be reduced to 80% of the original.
About the white noise sources, be assured that your suggestion will be collected and valued and we always make efforts to develop future products.
For the disconnecting issue, here are the tips: Please note that this doesn't necessarily mean there is an issue with the earbuds, so check your connected devices and surroundings. Bluetooth signals may be influenced by obstructions, such as walls, pillars, home appliances, Wi-Fi, and more. To ensure a stable connection for these earbuds, we recommend avoiding such obstructions and use in an indoor environment To fix this issue, try the following: 1. Fully charge and reset your earbuds as stated below and repair them. Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on the case flash white 3 times and then flash in sequence. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally. 2. Make sure you're wearing the earbuds correctly. 3. Try another set of ear tips and ear wings in a different size. Please note that if the earphones are too deep in your ears, it may affect the Bluetooth signal. Try larger sizes to reduce the in-ear depth of the earbuds, which may improve the connection stability. 4. Check the earbuds by listening to a downloaded song/video if you're using them in music mode. 5. Check the earbuds with another Bluetooth device in a different environment to see if there's a difference.

For years, I’ve slept with earbuds from lots of companies. None were perfect, and would either fall out or hurt over time lying on my side. When Bose came out with sleep buds, I got excited, until I saw that they don’t play regular music or podcasts- just sleep noise. How lame is that? They mustn’t have done much research on people’s sleep listening habits before releasing them.
These, on the other hand, play anything, and when you fall asleep, switch to sleep music. It works very well so far.
As far as fit- they haven’t fallen out nor have they hurt at all. Also, the sound is definitely good for what the product is designed for- don’t expect a picture perfect audiophile listening experience, but it’s definitely good enough for sleep.

Just over a year later and the right headphone is kaput! I adore these headphones and they work great. Same old story with this manufacturer…they DO NOT LAST! I’ve had so many of the Anker/Soundcore products. The sound quality is great, Bluetooth works more than it doesn’t, and the price point makes these a good choice for most. Please! Please!! For the love of everything please do a better job to make your product last.

Battery life is very poor when compared to Bose Sleepbuds. I have had it make it through the night twice. Setting an alarm shortens battery life significantly more. They work fine and are comfortable to wear. Just wish longer battery life.

They helped improve my sleep quality, are comfortable to wear and a big improvement over wirelss - no chord on my neck, but sure wish the battery would last longer. I get a max 6 to 6 1/2 hours of use before the battery dies, so that is all the sleep I get.

I have two sets of sleep earbuds, the now-discontinued Bose Sleepbuds, and these Anker A10 sleep earbuds. I accidentally broke one of my A10 earbuds recently, and immediately bought another set. The A10s work fine, connect quickly, and are easy to use, and here are some ways I think they could go from pretty good to really great.
1) My number one suggestion is to design the rubber tips to be better earplugs, even without music or sounds. This contributes to better sound masking right away, and I can hear a clear difference between the A10s and the Bose, the latter of which has a great earplug effect. A10s rubber tips seem only to be designed to keep the bud in your ear, Bose's are designed to keep noise out.
2) The app is quirky - there is a "sleep mode" setting where the same sound is uploaded to the earbuds and plays all night. (This feature of the earbuds works great.) Strangely, in order to pick the sound to upload you have to switch to the "music mode" setting (standard bluetooth operation) to change the "all night" sound. Once you get used to the app, it works well.
3) For sleep sounds, there are frogs, rain, pink/white/etc. noise, light piano music and the usual stuff. In my experience, those don't mask varying-pitched and varying-volume sounds like nearby music, traffic, or talking. Some background sound apps allow combinations of sounds to be created (car ride + rain + cafe sounds) that can mask out most varying outside sounds. It would be ideal for Anker to allow combined sounds in the app, or provide more sounds that are intended to mask varying noises.
I gave the A10s four stars because they're affordable, work well, can double as standard bluetooth earbuds, are easy to find online and locally, charge quickly, and connect every time. Anker seems to be improving these by providing more rubber tips and ear "wing" shapes than in their original release. I took one star off because I want them to work harder at being good earplugs and provide a better library of sleep sounds. Overall, I'm happy with these and they do the job, and I recommend them.

Great set of headphones for sleeping, can turn on ANC, connect to phone, or use the in app and in ear "white noise" backgrounds to help put you to sleep. Fantastic fit, and long battery life runs throughout the night, helping me get to sleep just right.
Very minimal in ear footprint while keeping a great sound quality. I've had these for 3 months now and have enjoyed them immensely.

Sleep earbuds that let you stream your own music

These were the only sleep earbuds I found that let you stream your own music and podcasts. They sound is good but not great, but they are only used for sleeping so super high sound quality was not a priority. I have a good pair of Bose earbuds I use for working out and listening to music. They are very small and comfortable and have a really cool case. They fit all my needs and I am happy with the purchase.

Connection Issues

I don't know why these things have connection issues if the phone is about a foot away from me while I sleep.
That's what these things are for by the way.
For sleeping.
I'm lucky if I can get both earbuds to work at the same time. Often one will disconnect and I hear my roommate snoring again. Then the other disconnects and I hear the snoring twice as loud.
Then one reconnects and I'm fidgeting with the earbuds wondering what is wrong.. because again both go out.
You play a game of random chance with these. But when they function (and this is rare) they work very well and they're very small so you can sleep on your side.
I'm hoping this company fixes this soon.
I doubt it as it's been months since I purchased this and just never got around to returning it.

I have had these since October 2023. Used every night and let me say my night of sleep have improved greatly since getting these. My husband is a snores HEAVY and these worked really well. Comfortable. The app is not the greatest but once you get the pattern down to set up your background noise going your set. I will admit, my left earbud battery doesnt hold a full charge on the indicator picture but I believe it does! But seriously, who cares... The trade off for a peaceful night of sleep are worth it!

These headphones are amazing! I have some difficulty sleeping, but these headphones provide the perfect solution. They are incredibly soothing, and I can easily take them with me wherever I go. Plus, I don't even need my phone to use them! When I wear them while sleeping, it's like I'm in my own world - they are so comfortable and I can barely feel them on my head.
